Favorite painting art

I am sure some here like art and paintings. I am pretty sure most are aware of the classical ones. Basically.. objectively detailed art.

However. There was something that never crossed my mind before. I wasnt interested in it til i heard more of the idea behind it. Edvard Munch.

Basically when you look at it objectively, it doesnt make so much sense. However... when i figured out it was to portray a psychological view point, to add contrast, color and that thing into it. I was stunned. Like the idea to paint something you feel. Its almost like some form of diary in a way, atleast it was for his early life. Much of the stuff he painted was mostly due to depression etc

So using colors to express emotions. To not give an objective art, but a psychological one. That concept itself i thought was really brilliant.
Although what one sees might be somewhat subjective, but the ideal factor is what i find pretty good. I also watched a documentary on it. Was really interesting to hear about.

Wondering what type of art you are into ^^

It's weird I'm not huge on artwork, but when I see artwork I do admire it and wonder what some paintings mean.

i like art, but i don't usually prefer any one style. but if i had to pick a favorite, i'd probably say abstract art.

not "surrealist" art, though. i really don't like that.

but other than that i like pretty much any style of art, i guess.

I really like classical art as well, my favorite probably being architecture to be honest. I would love to go to Europe one day to see all the old castles and churches.

I like paintings/art, but I usually stay away from scenes with humans in them. I dunno, I just don't like my art with people in them.

Not a huge fan of classic art. I like concept art for movies and games, actually. (Not that I dislike classic ones, I appreciate them the most actually; because of them we've got all the art today)

Yeah I like a lot of concept art from movies and TV shows.

I think some of my most favorite paintings are of snowy scenes. Even better, night scenes.
