Re: how often do you draw?

I draw pretty much whenever I have a pencil and paper in front of me. XD I'm not that good at drawing either, though.

Re: how often do you draw?

I draw all the time. At school, at home, under dinner. I also write poems, sometimes hide them within the drawings. I listen to music 23 hours a day 24/7 (I sleep with it on)

I'm currently working on a huge poster against global warming to hang up in my home town, wich is the center of my countrys oil industry. (Norway)

I've also graduated into the Art and Science school, So I'm drawing at school aswell (My science books are full of drawings though)

wink  I came fifth out of 128 at the regional youth art exibition last year  roll

:-P  So my hands hurts. But I've deserved it (my sister tells me to get a life... )

Re: how often do you draw?

I draw almost every day. Most of it isn't good enough to share (it's just really crappy pen doodling for practice). I haven't done much drawing over the past two days because I just haven't felt like it, but I usually go in cycles where I'll do a lot of drawings (usually good ones) for a few days and then a few days of crap drawing and a day or two of no drawing at all, and then I'll go right back to the good art again.

I used to get in trouble in school for drawing on my class notes and assignments. big_smile Eventually, I found some teachers who realized it was helping me stay focused and they'd let me draw on my notes. My math teacher even let me draw on my finished assignments in class to relieve some of the stress (I have a hard time with math). I think he liked the random doodles and comics. ^_^

Re: how often do you draw?

At least once a day pen only and pencil plus pen, mostly I can draw anytime i like too because i have my pants' pockets full of pencils and pens, as for the paper I take my dragon planers with me, they are small and easy to fit n places smile, if I don't draw, I make dragon figures from pipe cleaners , or twist ties XD

Re: how often do you draw?

Oh, dude, Shyro, I used to make pipe cleaner figures, too! XD

And I never go anywhere without my art bag, which always contains: a clipboard with copy paper on it, a folder of clean copy paper, another folder of works in progress, a notebook for writing down ideas, my rulers and comic panel template (which is just a wood block), my display book, and my pencil bag (which has several Bic pens, some Sharpies, a cheap mechanical pencil, and a baggie with my kneaded eraser in it). And, more often than not, the art bag also carries my AlphaSmart and a book or two. It's my all-purpose, emergency boredom extermination kit. big_smile

Re: how often do you draw?

I haven't drawn as much as I used to.  I have a lot of art books that I use for reference when I'm in the mood.

Re: how often do you draw?

I draw so much, that I run out of ideas!  The majority of my drawings are at school when I finish an assignment or there's nothing going on.  I 3D model too, here's a pic of my first successful (as in a good, multi-shape) model (my fav too).

EDIT: Big, I know, sorry.

Here's my first one ever though. (Front then back)

If you want to see my (MS Paint) drawings, look at my sig or goto my thread in the Spyro Pictures part.

Re: how often do you draw?

I used to be known for drawing lots of pictures, mainly of animals, but now I don't draw that much either.  But nowadays when I do draw, I draw screenshots to go with my fanfic.  For the last couple of months, I drew many each day and hung em on my wall.  You can see some of them at:

http://hotelmotelholidayinn.angelfire.com

But you'd have to read my fanfic to understand them though.

Interesting fact - I have the same birthday as Spongebob.

Re: how often do you draw?

I forgot to say, I ain't considered a crappy drawer like most users thought they are.  All my life I've been known as a good artist.  Classmates in grade four would rely on me to draw their pictures for them.

ps: Wow, sleva10 (a user on the first page) listens to music 23/24 hrs??!??!?!?!?!  WOW, that's a crazy amount of listening!!!

Edit: and yeah I agree it's much harder to draw on the computer.  But I've previously had computers where the mouse wouldn't move around properly, and the cursor would move all over the place such as spots I didn't steer it towards... making it even harder.
