Cat ran away...
A few months ago we thought that one of our cats had run away, and it turned out she was in our apartment the whole time. This time the other cat, Luna, is missing for real.
We looked all over the apartment, and she's nowhere to be found. She's been desperate to get outside forever, and I guess she finally managed somehow. I don't know what time she got out or how far from home she could be now, and I feel like the chance of ever seeing her again is almost nonexistent.
She was such a great cat. Everyone who met her loved her.
She caught a mouse one time; she isn't declawed; and she used to be a stray when she was a kitten, so it's possible she could survive outside. And she's so pretty and adorable that even if we don't get her back, it's possible she could find a new, loving home.
Sheena and Luna really loved each other, but Sheena had been snippy at her lately. I never knew why.
Here she is being a fluffy little dork. I would have gotten way more pictures of her if I knew she was going to run away. http://imgur.com/a/ykeQ0

Re: Cat ran away...
That sucks
Cats are known to travel long distances as well so she could be a mile away now ![]()
Maybe they might return in a few days? One of my cat's does that often.
How old are your cats?
(Also, the picture link is broken)

Re: Cat ran away...
I am so sorry to hear that Stormy. I truly hope you'll find your cat again. Maybe if you put up posters of "Have you seen this cat with phone number" that maybe someone will call if they see Luna ^^

Too bad ![]()
I know that cats on countryside are used to living outside and keep coming back for food, but am not sure about house living cats. You might also try to look at some, if there are any, cat shelters nearby if they didn't get her somehow, or you can try the posters as Steinar mentioned. I sometimes see those in my town.

I've found her. Repeat. I've found her.

She was hiding in the neighbor's garden this morning.

Re: Cat ran away...
I was gonna say ... heh, my cats (brother and sister) are too scared to go to the front yard. I was holding my boy and walked out the front door, he clawed his way over my shoulder and ran into the house. But he's sweet. Not sure what had him spooked, though.

Re: Cat ran away...
I'm so sorry to hear she ran away. Cats like to get out so you really got keep an eye on them to make sure they don't escape. Letting them get air is good but they need to be monitored. Glad she's back.

You'll know who my new username is referring to soon then!
I also love LotR. JRR Tolkien is one of my personal role models and Stormy and my son is named after one of the characters of the series. (The contemporary English way of saying his name anyway)

I already know, since I read the book once several years ago. It really was time to do so again, though! ... That just made me really curious what those names are ![]()
