Every Day Carry (EDC)

So I read an article earlier talking about this concept. A person's EDC would typically be the things they don't leave home without having on their person in some form, whether that may mean in a pocket, a bag, or worn. Personally I don't see the need to giving it a silliy acronym/name like this but I like the idea, and I think it really says a lot about a person to hear about theirs. So, what is yours? Maybe even include a picture of it all! I'll start.

Going left to right, top row first

1) My wallet - I'm going to start with the obvious ones, that almost everyone probably would include. Things I keep in my wallet include my ID, money, and various punch/rewards cards.

2) My keychain - Among what you see here I've got home keys, car keys, an RSA key for logging into my work computer, and a key for getting my work laptop off of its dock (gonna ditch those last two when I get my new job, it'll be nice to free up some pocket space)

3) NOT PICTURED BECAUSE IT TOOK THE PICTURE - My phone. I use my phone for a gret deal of my daily tasks, such as checking the news, weather, listening to my music, and etc.

4) Rosary - I like to keep my rosary on me at all times despite the fact I don't pray it near as much as I should/would like to. The idea is having it on me will remind me to do so more often.

5) Pocket Prayer Book - This one I actually keep in the wallet, but it stands out from everything else I keep in there so I separated it for this post. I don't use this much, I mostly have it for when I want to do a specific prayer but can't remember how it goes.

6) 4-Way Cross Necklace - I got this not too long ago just to use to constantly remind myself of my faith. It may seem like I'm more religious than I truly am to a lot of you here because I like to talk about my faith a lot (especially in Serious Discussion) but in truth I find myself forgetting it for much of the day. I hope to fix that.

NOT PICTURED BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE IT YET: Pocket Knife (This one, specifically) - I've wanted a pocket knife for quite some time now and I finally got around to buying one, now I just have to wait for it to ship. Pocket knives are useful for a lot of tasks, such as opening boxes easily; cutting through ropes, vines, or weeds; whittling on sticks when I'm bored; carving my initials, a plus sign, and Stormy's initials inside a big ol' heart on a tree or park bench; hunting bears and wild boar; and many other practical uses!

NOT PICTURED BECAUSE I'M WEARING THEM: My glasses - 'Cause I'm blind otherwise

NOT PICTURED BECAUSE I'M WEARING IT: My wedding ring - 'Cause I'm married and I love my wife

I didn't know you have glasses o.O or maybe I forgot.

As for me, I usually have these:

My friend gave me the wallet at elementary school and I still have it big_smile but it's in a very bad state now, so I might buy a new one.
As you can see, I'm not much into smarty-phones, this little thing can do all I expect from it. For everything else I have my tablet and laptop. (+ it lasts whole week without recharging!)

Re: Every Day Carry (EDC)

- Titanium knife

- Deer skin wallet

- Keys (.30-06 bullet, another knife, flash drive, gun key, other keys)

- Phone (Galaxy S3)

- iPod Nano 3rd Gen

(In the future, 9x19mm handgun)

Yep, my everyday stuff. I don't leave without my iPod because I can't drive without it.

I have glasses, my phone, and my wallet. I usually have a watch, but the band broke a while back and I haven't gotten around to buying a new one.

Re: Every Day Carry (EDC)

ID, Bus pass, money, and glasses usually  I wear them but in there if needed so I can remember to grab and put them on.
