Oh yeah, we get spambots all the time around here. Generally they make threads with long paragraphs of nonsense text and a bunch of links. There's a filter that catches most of them, but some still get through.

XRumerTest was a bot, and it was able to avoid the protection.

Eh, XRumerTest actually registered before the migration to FluxBB, so we wouldn't have had the bot blocking stuff yet. Some do still manage to get through though.
The XRumer Wikipedia page in its signature was pretty interesting I thought. I find it so weird that there's an entire industry around forum spam, and that anyone would bother making a relatively intelligent AI just for the sake of spamming.
