Fiction and reality

What i like about games when i play them is usually the type of stuff they are, some are kind some are fun and can be charming. There are some sceduled events, but it seems the conflicts doesn't exist in the sense of the character having its own sense of being the moral guide. I mean in terms of bitter argument (The only thing i can think of is "Land before time first movie". With little foot and sarah)

Reality you feel like you argue with anyone you don't like, which might leave you guilty. I mean unless you don't feel guilt. But i guess its what i don't like about reality is arguing, its usually petty and bitter stuff and annoyance can occur too.

Its the gift with fiction is how it will solve the problems without it leading to bitter argument leaving both... or worse having two people gang up on a person, and that person won't quit and act like they have the moral guidance. Its the part about reality hmm

Re: Fiction and reality

Usually when I realize my conversation with someone becomes an argument, I just stop talking and leave because the other is usually too stubborn to realize what they are talking about. There is no need to continue with an argument when it will only go in circles and cause more anger/frustration.

*shrug*

Fiction can be thoroughly interesting if the creator(s) put meaning to their fiction. Alternate realities are nice, but I as the player (reader, gamer, etc) would really benefit from the story if there are good moral values to learn from it. For instance, Ori and the Blind Forest. The game's world was breathtakingly beautiful and pulled me instantly, but the story is what really grabbed my heart. And it became gradually more interesting as the story followed through. (But no spoilers for you!)
