I hate cats

They are disgusting filth and they should be extinct. I had to take my dads cat cus he's moving and I swear to god this cat is the spawn of satan. She just never stopssss. She's broke a bunch of my things. My room is a complete mess and she won't go anywhere else in my house. She just sits in my room all day and hisses at everyone but me.

i know that not all cats are bad, but enough are that i never, ever want one as a pet again. absolutely no regard for the people that take care of them. they just do whatever they want. and what they want is always, somehow, bothersome and destructive.

Sounds like just a badly raised cat. Plus being in a new atmosphere with new people can be traumatizing for them as well--no reason to hate all cats. hmm

I believe dogs should go away, atleast cats is not a hazzard danger that they can turn crazy and fly on your throat etc.
But its a sad environment with cats in the city, i just believe it dont belong there. On the countryside however is much more healthier. Trees and nature to go too ^^

Few well raised happy, healthy dogs turn on their owners, Steinar. And cats should be treated as individuals, not generalized and hated.

Cats are nice if you treat them right, just like dogs. Sounds like what Paranoia said - the cat is probably scared. Cats don't tend to like change.

My cats are both pretty bratty at times, but they like people. The only time they hiss is when you step on their tails or something.

Stormy, true. Even if its accidental, i mean thats understandable. Its not like one would be happy if your fingers is slammed in the edge of a door for example. Its pretty painful so i can understand why a cat will get mad and hide under a sofa or something if that happens. But yeah if you feed your cat, pet it and let it out and inn then the cat will like you as a owner ^^.

I think it's a bit rash to call all cats "disgusting filth" and saying "they should be extinct" due to one cat that's bothering you.

First page did wield one article about euthanizing an aggressive dog, however it was incredibly one-sided, basically "oh my dog was aggressive so I put it down," nothing else; not worth reading.
I got my first dog when I was 2 years old, we had to put him down due to his cancer a bit over a year ago, at 12. Not once in those 12 years did I get bitten. He was a Pitbull/German Shepherd mix, two types of dogs considered to be the most aggressive in the world. The dog we have now will love you to death. Every time he meets someone he jumps up, tries to lick them, to the point that we have to get him down. He has never bit anyone, and I suspect unless it's in protection of himself or us for some reason, he never will. He loves every person he meets, and every dog he meets. He is a Pitbull/Bullmastiff mix, again, two types of dogs considered to be aggressive. Why is it that these dogs have never gone crazy and flew onto someone's throat? I suppose you can guess how I feel when someone says "dogs should go away." You're free to an opinion, but if you're going to express it, please know what you're talking about. I have never in my life met someone who has been wounded by a dog. Have you?

I agree with you 100% Flapjacks. My dog Roxy is a staffordshire bull terrier (a breed of dog used for fighting in the past) and has never showed aggression towards ANYONE. Not even my cat. She is turning 9 this month. Rocko (who is also a staffy), who we had to put down due to cancer at the age of 13 also never showed any aggression. You could trust him to play with any young kid or toddler. He actually had this sense about babies and young children and he would play extra gently. He was the sweetest dog I've ever come into contact with.

I love dogs and cats too! Truthfully I love all animals. I've got a dog, a cat, a leopard gecko, and 16 horses.

36, I think you're reading a bit selectively. I actually did talk about my cats liking people earlier in the thread. This isn't uncommon, either - I hear stuff all the time about other sweet and cuddly cats. A lot of them are more aloof than your average dog, sure, but that doesn't mean they hate you. They're just more independent.

I tend to find dogs annoying because they jump all over you (edit: to be fair, not all dogs do this, just most of the ones I've encountered) and are very needy compared to cats. I don't hate dogs, but I wouldn't want to own one.

Oh my goodness. What an awful picture. sad Poor little pony. Perhaps we should all just agree that all animals are individuals and we shouldn't group one type of animal together and judge them as a whole.

I think I know what you're thinking, and that's "that's just one account, it means nothing," however, this is literally what you are providing; one account. And even if you did, like I said before, provide 100,000 of these, that would still mean nothing besides your extreme determination in trying to convince me that dogs are bad. All you're doing now is convincing me to think that your opinions are not really worth much. I'm sorry if that's a bit harsh, but that is honestly how I feel given your behavior.

Okay, you know what, this is going way too far with the animal gore pictures. There's absolutely no reason for this to be getting as heated as it is. Next time I'm on my PC and not my phone I'm going to be removing those pictures, and in the meantime, let's try to calm down now and just agree to disagree instead of having a contest about who can find the worst gore to prove a point.
