and the free version of the spell mod puts ads in your game
literally pop-up ads in your game

i will always complain about the state of the gaming industry like some old man in a retirement home whenever it comes up in conversation, up until my very last breath. back in my day, you bought the game as it was, no patches, no DLC, no mods (only GameShark codes!), you could actually hack the games without consequence, the graphics were sub-par and nobody cared, etc.
