Chris Kyle is a hero in my book

I don't get how people can say "American Sniper" is just propaganda. I mean sure he in some cases felt justified doing what he did and didn't feel sorry for it, but why would you when its for a greater cause. I thought the movie was good either way.

You just answered your own question.

The so called "greater cause" is highly debatable.

Re: Chris Kyle is a hero in my book

People who think his actions were wrong obviously didn't wath the in-between scenes that proved what those scumbags do to people. The scenes in that movie are accurate examples of what has been done in the real world.

And if I saw that in person I would also be mentally scarred.

This. ^ While I don't assume he's a bad person for the things he had to do while in service, I don't enjoy glorifying war. Especially not one like the Iraq War where there were very questionable motives and practices.

Re: Chris Kyle is a hero in my book

He risked much of his life by going back there plenty of times being in service.

Meanwhile in europe....
