To be honest I tend to prefer kids/family friendly movies and TV shows half the time anyway. Everything else is 2 edgy 4 me

I know how you feel. The kids family stuff. Is actually pleasant to me. I do enjoy edgy stuff. But kids/family shows are good natured. Full of heart and good morales and characters. So their fun to watch.

I know a lot of people are getting sick of the cries of "OMG PANDERING!!!11," but I don't see how this could be anything but.

You're right, it could be a fun episode. smile The obscure fandom references are exactly what I'm talking about. But they should hopefully have enough sense not make them subtle if they're going to put them in.

I'm more than ever excited for this season mainly because I read somewhere that the CMC may get their cutie marks, also I can't wait to see all the different places Twilight and her friends go in Equestria.

Sounds cool. But I'll be watching Let's Watches. Again if it wasn't for some other dude I forgot his name he was cool, and Zeb Reacts I wouldn't have seen season 4. So that's how I'll watch 5. Should be good.

That's pretty cool. Anyone also notice that the season seems to put a huge emphasis on cutie marks? I wonder if something happens that results in the Mane 6 losing them and having to get them back. Guess we'll see. Examples of this are some of the episodes discriptions, and a new commercial about upcoming toys.

The cutie marks are important it's what represents what a pony is good at or enjoys. We might learn to appreciate that more this season. But there maybe more to it this season. We'll find out I guess.

I think it's called the cutie mark magic commercial Stormy. It probably hasn't aired everywhere . Should be on youtube if anything.

I agree are the CMC going to be bounty hunters in that episode?

the way the episode was going at first.

overall it wasn't as good as some of the other openers, but i liked it!

The season 5 premiere episodes were sooooooo good, OMG the opener was amazing and I love it!!!! Also loved the new location introduced and the new ponies and villain introduced. Starlight Glimmer is such a creepy and charming villain and is truly manipulative. I also love the song featured and the message of the two episodes. I can't wait for the rest of what this season holds!! big_smile :D:D:D:D
