I almost refrained from sharing this band. Thinking their music wouldn't be enjoyed as much as they deserved. I can't post music for my Skype friends to hear because they just listen to garbage and don't realize the artwork in this kind of music. I'll post it here anyway for someone to explore, tho it might be in vain. I often feel like good music is often too overlooked.

"Loom" and "Frozen Planet" by Pompeii, recorded in the Audiotree studio.

They also have a bandcamp.

I recently began following Audiotree's channel on YouTube. A while back I found Foreign Fields on their channel, then Caspian. Then a few nights ago I was digging through their videos listening to different bands. A few of them lacked talent, but some had good concepts. And that's when I stumbled upon Pompeii. I knew I heard their name before but didn't remember their sound. After listening to their previous albums I'm getting why I turned away from their music, but this new album sounds a lot more mature (meaning, not teeny-bop sounding) and as if the band found a new passion for their music.

I just read this on a review site: "Austin, TX-based Pompeii are returning after a five-year hiatus with Loom on October 14, 2014." So it seems this album is recent.

I know The Crystal Method since i was 12, and that song was the first song that I've heard of by The Crystal Method, the second song by them that I heard of was 'Sine Language (feat. LMFAO)', then there's 'Smile?', then 'Starting Line', and then 'Over It (feat. Dia Frampton)'.

I knew I recognized the name of that band. A while back I looked up the Gran Turismo 2 soundtrack, since I grew up playing that game. It's strange to listen to the music again and have random nostalgia for music like Rob Zombie and stuff from when I played when I was like 8.

This is the song from them in GT2.

Also, Swaffy, I definitely appreciate most of your music postings. They've helped me discover a few cool bands, so don't hesitate to post stuff.
