Re: YOU AMERICANS STOLE THE SNOWWWW

I live in West Virginia, and we (surprisingly) haven't really gotten any significant accumulation this year. I'm glad though because I hate snow. Ever since a log truck slid into my mom's lane on the interstate and hit her last year, I don't want anything to do with it. Not to mention my fiancé slid into a flooded creek on his way to college after it had rained, froze, and then had a dusting of snow accumulate on top of it that same year. His car had initially went into the creek upside down and then it flipped back over and he was able to get out the window, swim down a little ways, and find someone's house to use their phone. Here's a picture of his car after it had stopped floating downstream before my dad pulled it out with the tractor.

Re: YOU AMERICANS STOLE THE SNOWWWW

Wow that is one flood alright yikes. Sorry to hear though, aslong as the car has insurance then i guess it will be fixed for free. Nature can bring the strangest thing at times.

I mean i just like snow. I feel like if i don't get snow from December atleast til March. Then its like living in the south. Its like a fun thing having season changes. But i remember some friends not being much into snowy weather either. Perhaps i should try live somewhere else.

No, not at all. The car was totaled. But he has a new car now.

But yeah, I know what you mean. I like the idea of snow. It's pretty and charming, but there's just been too many accidents in my family for me to really want it. Plus, I have horses, and anybody who has horses knows that it's so difficult to do anything with them in the winter. You freeze your butt off in sub-zero temperatures trying to care for them, and riding is out of the question most of the time. Especially for someone like me that gets sick ALL the time. Haha.

Sorry, I'm so sorry xD
Is it wrong that I find it kinda funny? xD

Never ask what I'd do for a klondike bar. No one wants to go down that road.

Considering both my mom and fiancé could've been killed... Probably hmm.

Re: YOU AMERICANS STOLE THE SNOWWWW

Never seen snow in my life hey. I hear so much about the positives and negatives of snow, but I reckon it would be nice to see it at least once in my life... right? sad
My part of Aussie-lane is probably closer to getting heat raining from the sky than we are to getting snow.

Honestly though, I loved playing in the snow as a child, but as an adult, it's just a huge pain more than anything else. It's definitely worth experiencing at least once though. I would love to have Australia's heat right about now in the dead of winter here in Northern MN.
