Re: Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U
For some reason I seem to be terrible with Pikachu in this game, despite using him as a main in the previous two games. Now I'm one of those annoying Kirby players.
I seem to do alright with Bowser, too.

Re: Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U
I agree. I can't wait to see Apex this year too. For those who don't know, it's a tournament where great fighting games are played Melee being one, The Smash competive scene is great
I'll definitely try to catch some Apex Smash Bros if I get the time. I recently started getting into watching competitive matches on Youtube and streams over the last few months.
Stormy: Do you guys own the game now? For Kirby, definitely use his downward aerial move on people since it stuns them and can be used to get another move in on the ground, and you can also spike people with it over the edge. Kirby used to be the only character I played as in this game. ![]()

Re: Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U
Lately I've been playing Falcon, Ganondorf, and some Shulk. I can play a lot of others, though. I try to keep my options open. I used to main Pikachu in Brawl, but not as much in this one. I'm still really good with him, though. They definitely nerfed his down-b. It used to be really spammable, but now its range and damage are a lot lower. His side-b, however, is actually viable for damage now, so it's not just a recovery anymore. So that's cool.

Re: Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U
Played this game on somebody else's 3DS with two guys in school. I'm not good on a 3DS, but *bleep*s ganged up on me. I got *bleep*ed at the guy who proposed the plan, so I threw the 3DS at him.

Re: Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U
Here's a fun question? Is there any characters you guys want for a future Smash? For me if they could add him Shovel Knight, and Ridley.

Not yet, but I've had the chance to play on a few other people's games. Zed on IRC has been pressuring me a little to get it, but I don't know when we will. ![]()

Re: Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U
This might be a stupid question, but I'm new to online gaming. Would there be any way we could actually play each other? Or is it strictly random when you play online?

If you add someone, then you can choose "with friends" when going to online mode and if you're both online then you can play together.

Re: Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U
That video got a good laugh out of me, haha.
Anyone else see the Rayman leak fiasco? This guy took the time to draw a Rayman model in Photoshop and edited together a video with Rayman and Mewtwo on the character select screen and got a lot of people to believe it (including me). The funny thing is that some people got really angry about it.

Re: Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U
So I don't know if I said it here. But there was something about an error code corrupting data, and erasing memory. The problem's not been encountered for a while so you should be okay to fully play any of your games but y'all probably have. So all's good.
I myself have been. And will be again fully soon. It's been a blast and I fully got all characters. Save for Mewtwo which I won't be getting as I don't have both but Ah Dosen't matter he'll be cool.
Anyway yeah I saw the Artsy Omni thing. If anyone watches GameXPlain, they had a discussion thing, where he explained he didn't make the fake with malicious intent. It's part of a series he's doing where people can request characters. He will make a portrait of what they would look like in Sma4sh. So maybe I will see more of his stuff.
Crash thing was hilarious.

If you want some exciting Smash matches...
Either way, I've been playing a lot of Fox in Smash Wii U and having fun styling on people in For Glory. ![]()
