Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire!
Don't know how many Pokemon fans are here? But for those who got the games what do you think? 10/10. In my book currently training for Elite Four.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Don't have the game yet, but I'll definitely get it eventually. Emerald was my first Pokemon game, so I'm really looking forward to playing this one.

Re: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire!
I'm planning to get it. Seems like it will be good. I'm just disappointed they didn't include the battle frontier, or even a battle tower, as I just can't stand the battle maison from XY. TOO MUCH FRENCH in those games ![]()

Re: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire!
No Battle Frontier? I'm definitely not getting it, then. The Battle Frontier was the entire reason I had been trying to find a copy of Emerald with a working internal battery. I had Sapphire, so I only had the Battle Tower, but the Battle Frontier looked like such a fun challenge. ![]()
I was already leaning towards not buying it, even though third gen was my favorite. Mostly because I dislike the 3D graphics where you can barely see in the direction you're walking and they try way too hard to impress you with the weird camera angles. And I haven't been able to finish the last two Pokemon games that came out because they just got boring. ![]()

Gen 3 was my favorite, but I am leaning towards not buying this one, mostly because I'm trying to save my money, but also because I don't really like the new music all that much, and one of the main reasons I liked gen 3 was the music
I'm not sorry if I offended you.

No Battle Frontier and the music isn't that good? Now I'm definitely on the fence. ![]()

Re: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire!
There has been some theorising about a DLC with the Battle Frontier coming at some point, although that doesn't seem very likely at the moment. Delta Emerald looks like it might be coming, and the Frontier is supposedly under construction in ORAS, so it might come back in a Delta Emerald version.
Otherwise, I hope Game Freak gets really worried about all the negative feedback regarding the lack Battle Frontier and decide to make a DLC for it anyway. ![]()
When it comes to music, I'd say that's very much about personal taste and nostalgia. I've seen a lot of praise for the HGSS music, but I personally didn't like it much compared to GS, and only actively played with sound on after I got the GB Sounds key item. I still haven't got OR/AS, so I can't say for sure yet, but the tracks I find uploaded to youtube doesn't sound that bad IMO. (I might just have been expecting disaster, though

Re: Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire!
Good point. There was something really iconic about that trumpet sound. :S
Edit:
Just bought Alpha Sapphire!
I'm not past the beach where Mr Briney resides yet, but so far I'm very happy with the game. The music feels pretty much as it should, and I like the stronger, more saturated colors of the environment much better than those in XY.
