a lot of people have different plans

im planing on becoming an animator and/or voice actress
a couple years ago i wanted to be a storyboard artist, concept artist or a game designer
im just scared about going out into the big scary world.

Well i would like to be a professional skateboarder / music producer / DJ / video game designer, but in reality i'd probably work 2 or 3 part time jobs at various places

I'd like to continue being a software developer, and to be a good father and husband. My dad always told me that his greatest regret is that he went into a career that keeps him away from his family too much, and I've taken that to heart because I really look up to him. I want to follow his wish and be hard working, yet always put family before work.

As a good father, I want to lead my kids by example. I want to show them what it is to be a Catholic, what it means to love your spouse, how to handle making a mistake, and why to always choose sparx in an emoticon hurt and heal game.

As far as careers go, I wish I knew. I went to college for computer science, but that career path has probably caused me more stress than anything. I couldn't deal with a full time office job for multiple reasons, but continually applying for jobs, interviewing, and getting rejected as a freelancer isn't exactly ideal, either. I was hoping to find some part time work I could do from home so I could both make some money and take care of my baby, but so far the job search isn't working out.

My ideal situation would probably be running my own small business, either a physical store or a website of some kind. I'd even be content working for someone else in retail or a coffee shop if I could somehow do that without needing someone else to take care of my kids for me.

I was always planning on staying home with my kids, and we've been leaning more towards homeschooling lately, so that'll probably end up being my life for the next 20 or so years, whether or not I have a job.

It's hard for me to know what I'll be doing. I've been going to school for environmental studies and geographic information systems (GIS). I enjoy what I'm doing in school, but as for a career, I'm not quite sure yet. I don't think I'll be able to tolerate a desk job for the rest of my life. I think being a park ranger or something like that would be cool.

musician.

i write my own songs, sing and play a couple instruments, and can do pretty decent mixing and stuff considering all i have is an 8-track recorder and Audacity. all i have to do is record the things!.. that's more frustrating than you'd think it is.

im looking in to game developer or better yet an animator, i also think it would be cool to be a martial arts sensei but then again being voice actor would be pretty sweet too ya know

I'm honestly not 100% sure yet. I'm in my junior year of college to get a degree in biology, but I'm not sure what I want to do with it yet. When I first went to college, I was planning on going on to veterinary school, but I just don't know if I can handle that much college. I seriously loathe college. I am planning on getting married to my boyfriend of almost seven years after I get my degree, and we plan on bringing our four horses along with us when we move in to our house. smile

Yeah, you probably have to go to graduate school for that, I'm guessing? I feel the same way about college. I've been in school my entire life and would just like to be done. Plus paying for it is a whole other story. roll Luckily I'm on the home stretch of my senior year now.

I have almost no idea what's in my future (but darnit, getting over my forumophobia's gotta be a part of it. Hi guys and gals =P)

I'm aiming to be a game developer, but which specific part of game development I have no idea. From everything I've tried I loved designing, writing, 3D animating, concept art, despite my primary self-taught talent being programming. And I still want to try out music composition, which my college couldn't deliver during my year. So much stuff I wanna do, so little time. x.x

My long-term ambition would be to create my own studio, initially built up by fans of my project(s). Creating a team based off of a passion for a certain project/style of project is an experimental idea I want to pursue; a standard team of specialised professionals can only do so much sometimes.

I really admire this. Your dad sounds really wise despite his regrets. smile I sometimes get worried I'll end up in the same position if I'm not careful, so that message really resonates with me.

I've always wanted to become an Astronomer, but the job outlook is pretty slim to none, especially where I live. I don't want to move far away from where I live, I want to keep an eye on my parents and make sure they are in good hands, because no one else would probably help them unfortunately. I also had interests becoming a chef, but that's another career I'm on the fence about. I'm currently focused on becoming a teacher, but I STILL have doubts on what I want to do. I'm going to apply for college in a few weeks and I'm going to be taking General Studies. I hope at some point I have a clear understanding on what I want to do.

Thing I've been trying to do right now is voice acting, I actually sent two established animators on youtube voice demos a few days back. I'm also planning to get a good microphone later on. Also considering game design, but mostly shooting for voice acting right now.

To be honest I thought about that too. I can sing, and I'm learning to play guitar. I thought about starting with covers of Nirvana (the easier songs like Marigold). And I can figure that it's a lot of pain xD

I want to be a zookeeper. Or a police officer. But I don't think I would have the qualifications for ether. I don't know if Zoology would be too hard for me most likely. And training and studying at the Police Adademy may be too much for someone like me. So I might just end working at a pet store or clothing store. Maybe teacher. At my old high school but doubt it. Pet Store or clothing store is good enough for me.

I won't get married or have kids and I will be single permently. And I would've have it any other way.
