Re: who's played five nights at freddy's?

Chica literally means 'girl' in spanish, and also might be a play on words for chica being a chicken, but I always assumed he/she was a duck. Now that I think about it more, though, she's probably a chicken. Honestly though, they're animatronics, so I don't really think they have a gender. But, who cares. Let's assume they're all males except chica and get on with our lives.

its more about the character's genders rather than the animatronics. and plus no one was really arguing about their genders so ur comment is invalid

Re: who's played five nights at freddy's?

I didn't really think anyone was arguing, nor did I try to end it, I just decided to make a smart-alecky comment at the end of my statement. Also, I wasn't really thinking about their characters, I was kind of just thinking about them in general, because I don't really think the creator of the game would give them some kind of backstory, but I suppose I wouldn't know. Also, yes, my comment is valid, because it's a comment. Not a fact. I didn't intend for my last sentence to be taken entirely seriously.
jus sayin chica's prolly a female
Btw, can we officially acknowledge the sparx emote as meaning your sentence is sarcastic, because no one understands my sarcasm

Re: who's played five nights at freddy's?

I'm not disappointed with it at all; it seems like it's much harder to create an easy "winning" pattern than it was in the first one; it's got very eerie and genuinely creepy ways of telling the story, and it's much, much harder than the first one. I'm only on night 4. After playing this long in the first one, I was already attempting 20/20/20/20. I think I can say it's better than the first one; not exactly sure why it disappointed you. Too many new animatronics to make romantic fanart about?

Five Nights 2 looks way scarier than Five Nights 1, of course me and jump scares don't mix so... yeah.

Re: who's played five nights at freddy's?

Yeah, that's pretty spoilerino, though, some others might want to find that out for themselves. I know I was amazed by it. Didn't really expect something so unpredictable from a horror game of the type. For those who don't care about spoilers, I'll tell all I know.

Hidden text

Basically, the check at the end of the game reveals it takes place in 1987. November 12, 1987, to be exact (holy *bleep* that's today what a coincidence,) but the alleged bite of 1987 is mentioned in the first game by the phone guy. Plus, the phone guy was supposedly killed at the end of the first game by Golden Freddy. This means it must be in the past, but what about the place being "reopened" with "new" animatronics, but the old ones still being there? Well, if you compare the "old" animatronics of the second game to the original ones in the first game, there are minor differences besides them being so mangled. Bonnie has buttons, Chica's mouth is weird, and such. So, these "old" ones in the second game are the first generation, from an old Freddy's. The "new" ones in the second game are the second, and the classic ones from the first game are the third and final generation that we know of. However, there's more. On night 6 of the second game, phone guy asks you to come in at the daytime of the next day and make sure the animatronics, who have recently become more dangerous than usual, don't do anything rash at a kid's birthday party. This birthday party is when the bite took place. My friend gave me evidence that it was the protagonist of the second game who was the victim of the bite, but I've forgotten. So, yeah. Pretty crazy.

Re: who's played five nights at freddy's?

I watched Markiplier beat the game. This is my thought:

Freddy's 2 is more about strategy than scares, though the scare factor is there and still fairly strong.
Freddy's 1 was more about the scare factor and being confused about the story behind the pizza place.

Though both games mainly consist of bland jumpscares, they both ended up being more about strategy... and frustration.

I think the scare factor in the second one is higher, honestly, because the creepiness factor is much higher due to the minigames, cutscenes, and general atmosphere. Also, I got Golden Freddy yesterday and nearly *bleep* my pants. God *bleep* that got me good. I was NOT expecting that. I think Freddy's 2 did everything better, overall.

Re: who's played five nights at freddy's?

I haven't played the game series mainly cause I hate jumpscares, but I do love the lore surrounding the series and I love watching people play.
