The job was a landscape technician for a local garden center. Pretty temporary seeing as it will probably snow in about 2 months, but at least it will be something for the spring as well.

Very good news, man! I hope it all goes well and you actually end up working with good people.

Just earlier I got a phone interview with Geek Squad (Best Buy) and I have an interview on Sunday. "Business casual" I was told, not used to that but I can manage.

If I were told that I'd wear dress clothes, sans jacket and tie. So basically dress shirt, dress pants, and matching leather belt and shoes. (Shirt tucked in of course)

Thanks man! Good luck with your interview as well.

So yeah, I got a call today and got the job, and will already be starting tomorrow. Sounds like they are in really desperate need of people to help finish up projects before winter comes around. That plus my other job...it'll be about a 12 hour work day tomorrow...so that's a thing.

Re: General Discussion 5

Hang tight. Man I kind of did something similar in an Co-Op Placement sadly I was kind of bad at it and dirt sometimes did end up on the ground but I tried. Anyway good luck and wish you well. Get a good rest after that 12 hour shift.

Re: General Discussion 5

I can do 8 hours and I'm toast for the day. 12 hour shifts day by day means having no life, no worth in living any more for me. I'd rather live in the woods and eat squirrels.

Well 12 hour days will only be Tuesday and Thursday luckily. There's no way I could do that and go to school. Just a little way to earn some money while working outdoors before the blizzards get here.

Thanks for the words of encouragement though guys. Coworkers seem to be pretty cool people too.

Also, Clock'la that show sounds awful; I hope you're okay. tongue

Sometimes those long days make it all feel worth it when you get home for the day. When you sit down to relax it just feels like you earned that relaxation.

That is too true. Then you can enjoy it with family and friends before you rinse and repeat.

I actually enjoy it xD

I remember on dark Spyro when it was first out they were going CRAZY about the fact its a reality show, they didn't seem to realise that it is a ANIMATED show xD so...it may have a reality show formula but it is more a parody than an actual reality show. Also Its not like people were having to vote for who won :-p

Re: General Discussion 5

I can emulate SNES, NES, SEGA MEGA DRIVE/CD and N64 games on a wii. (But the 64 emulator only works about good on Mario 64)

I think Nintendo awards this. Because i have bought many Wii Classic games on the wii. But guess what the resolution is terrible when i play SNES games on a widescreen hd tv with component cable. But with a snes emulator on the wii i have more options to filter it. And it looks excellent with it.

But it was worth it though big_smile
