Re: Healthy Dinner/lunch ideas :-P
I'm not that great at cooking yet, so for dinners I'll often make really simple things with only a few ingredients that I can just put in the oven or boil over the stove, like frozen fish filets with a little seasoning, baked potatoes, or some kind of pasta like spaghetti.
Sandwiches are really easy for lunches. Besides the usual meat like turkey and ham, there's also peanut butter, egg salad, or tuna salad. Salads (with lettuce
) are always good too, and you can just throw in whatever you happen to have in the fridge.

Re: Healthy Dinner/lunch ideas :-P
I recommend buying some chicken and grilling it. (I just use a small George Foreman, nothing too hard) You can make a salad and put chicken on it, or make some spaghetti with alfredo sauce and chicken, or chicken quesadillas with some tortillas and cheese. Soups are also really easy too and you can put all kinds of healthy things in them. I could post a recipe for some really good broccoli cheese soup I made recently if you're interested.
I'm trying to do the same thing as you...but I'm currently eating macaroni and cheese from a box at the moment, so...lol.

Hmm, how about cooking some potatoes with vegetables?
(when it's done I also add a small piece of butter on it, and a bit of salt) Maybe you could also cook some beans, in a tomato sauce for example, with some potatoes. (potatoes rocks! and they're extremly cheap now in czech :3) Or tomato sauce with vegetables and small pieces of meat, with those (idk if you have them in your country) Another good food is homemade pizza, but that can be a bit difficult.

Maybe a vegetable stew.

To build on this, I like using slowcookers to make some sort of roast with all kinds of veggies in the mix! It makes enough to feed your for a few days and it's really easy! Just put it all in in the morning and when dinner time comes it's ready

I'm sure it's healthier than a lot of fast food, at least. ![]()

It was "pink slime" before, obviously...lol
Yeah some fast food can get pretty gross. Luckily I rarely eat out anymore.

I've actually heard that that "pink slime" stuff is a myth, but so many people are making stuff up on the internet nowadays I never know what to believe anymore. ![]()

Screw health, that looks delicious.
Today we had sausage and peas. Incredibly easy to make both of them and very healthy too (as long as you don't eat too much of the sausage)
