Re: General Randomness
i get along rather well with dogs when they're nice. our dog likes me. we know someone else with the same kind of dog as us (basset hound), and she always comes right over to me. same with our neighbor's little dog. i think he's some kind of chihuahua.

Re: General Randomness
The aggressive ones you got really watch though Pit Bulls and Rottweilers especially. If their not tame keep your distance.

Re: General Randomness
Pitbulls are actually some of the nicest dogs initially, it's just that they're also some of the strongest, so bad trainers use them as attack dogs, leading to them being dangerous and blamed by the media all too often. The pitbull puppy we have right now is one of the nicest dogs I've ever met, has never attacked anyone, and loves everyone he meets.

Re: General Randomness
That's good. Pit Bulls are good and all. Gotta be trained good no doubt. Also Spyro THe Original HD Collection will sadly never likely happen. But it is what it is.

The first one.
Oh, okay.
This is basically what it was:
It's a racing game, in which you can use the track as your weapon.
Le gameplay:
We NEED more games like this! I'm surprised that Black Rock hasn't made a second game!

Ah, that'd probably explain why I've never heard of it. I don't really play racing games much.

Stormy wrote:I dunno, some people train their dogs to be pretty obedient without leashes. The other day I saw one running freely after its bike-riding owner.
It's more courteous to leash them, I think, but I don't necessarily feel like everyone needs to be bound to do it by law.
move to Pennsylvania, you won't see it that way for long.
just the other day someone's dog started chasing me again. for reasons unknown (i didn't hear its owner) it turned back. these people up the street have three loud, annoying dogs, one of them has gotten out and bitten like 3 people so far. some dog on the other side of town kept getting out there for awhile and chased me like twice and actually attacked a friendly dog we knew (who was okay afterward). the people down the street from us also have a dog that gets out all the time because they don't leash it, they also don't close in their backyard but then let the dog walk there all the time and are always genuinely surprised when he gets out. he's also not very friendly. these people on the street up from us have these dogs that were getting out and going after people for awhile, those dogs are crazy. you so much as walk within eyeshot of them, and they're basically ready to rip the gate apart to get you, i'm not even kidding if you're hundreds of feet from their house and they see you they will still jump up and start barking. that was going on for years, a couple weeks ago they finally got a wooden fence there in addition to the old, bent, wire one. while walking outside of town, there's this house that has a couple dogs that are always getting out and running after me, for obvious reasons i don't go on that road anymore, those people never learn. a few dogs have chased me around the next town over which doesn't have leash laws. someone's dog randomly ran over to our yard the one day, thankfully it's apparently not a mean dog because it ran right over to us, our dog sure didn't like it, though, and that's not a good sign. i just remembered the time someone's dog ran through an open door in their fence and went after our dog, i had to scare it by barking at it, eventually its owner finally came out and noticed their gate was open and their psychopathic dog got out, you'd think if you had a dog that's that nuts, you'd check the gate that leads right to a street where people, you know, walk, before you let your dog out there. also my friend and i were walking on this road and the house's two dogs got out and started going after us. mind you they were small dogs but what if they weren't? they shouldn't have been going after us anyway. my family and i have seen *several* dogs just walking around, we don't know if they're friendly, we don't know who owns them, but we usually don't see them again afterwards. a few times we had to take our dog inside because there was another one running around and we don't have our yard closed in, either - we don't have the money to, the difference is we also own a leash and don't own a psychopathic dog that likes to chase everyone around town and bite them.
it's an extremely common thing for my family and friends to ask, "is that dog on a leash?" if we can't decide, we just turn back. always. no matter where we are.
instances of dogs coming after me/my family since i posted this 15 days ago:
1. i had never been on this one road before. i started walking on it and a few short steps in the guy's small dog started barking and chasing after me. he insisted it wouldn't bite me. i'm not about to just assume he's right.
2. the dogs i mentioned before that "you so much as walk within eyeshot of them, and they're basically ready to rip the gate apart to get you". well my mom, our dog, and i were walking near that fence yesterday and they already have to *stop walking* and have me *CHECK* if the dogs are out. if they are we just turn back. that's how bad these dogs are. anyway, i didn't see them so we started walking, turns out they were out, just hiding behind some stuff on their porch, so they started running toward the fence and *knocked over one of the posts like a feather*. it started chasing us, and our dog (and i) kept barking at it which intimidated it a bit, but it did keep coming at our dog, thankfully never actually attacking him. the dog got distracted and went to go pee on a telephone pole, in the meantime we all ran into our neighbor's house until the dog *ran around behind our house and back to its owners' house*. this dog has to be like 3-4 feet tall. who knows what this dog could have done in the meantime? my mom has agoraphobia and can't go many places on foot, but there are also *children* and elderly people who use that alleyway, imagine if that dog had been out then!
i could also point out maybe a month ago, our neighbor was taking her dog out in the middle of the night and noticed a big black dog just sitting on our porch. it was gone by the time we got up. we have no idea whose dog it was. apparently it wasn't aggressive, anyway.
there have also been several days lately where we find other dogs' waste in our backyard.

Re: General Randomness
wait for what? a new Spyro game? or people around here obeying leash laws? don't worry, the ones with normal dogs already do obey them. it's just the people with lunatic dogs who don't.
and i think the new Spyro game might just come first.
