I actually just realized that I get swinging moods when it comes to Skylanders. At one point, I get mad when I see all types of hype about it, but at another point, I'm completely okay with it. This is one of those times when I'm okay with it, because, earlier today, I thought of an idea to kick start a new Spyro game: a Skylanders owner's BONUS!!

I know you guys know me not to be this way, but just listen up: the way this thing will work is that you can use the Skylanders to upgrade Spyro at the beginning of the game. Whatever powers your Skylanders have right now can give Spyro a head start in the game, since he will borrow the Skylanders' powers to give himself an advantage against enemies.

For example, let's say that you have a fire Skylander, such as the first ever Skylanders Spyro. His powers can make the new game's Spyro's flames burn more flesh early on, depending on how strong your Skylander is. This way, Spyro doesn't have to go through a lot of fights before he can finally get a more powerful fire breath.

And all you need to do is to put your Skylanders on the Skylander portal at the beginning of the game. You guys know me to hate Skylanders, but now I'm looking towards its future. I might even be in a good mood with Skylanders for a while. I just can't believe that Activision hasn't thought of this.

again, why does everything in those Skylanders screenshots look like rubber padding? shouldn't the graphics in these things be *more* realistic with each generation of consoles?...

I think Activision has the Skylanders series planned out for the next couple of years so it's going to continue going strong for a while longer.

Which I am cool with. And it is what it is. Least we still can go back and play Orginal and Legend of Spyro if need be.
