Eh. I'm over it. Vesperia has translation guides like Destiny, Destiny 2, and Rebirth has. And after playing Destiny on PS2 its not really that bad.

I want to try "Tales of Symphonia", but the closest is "Tales of Vesperia" hmm

So I'm about 80% through Tales of Destiny.

And with that outta the way the Aethersphere dungeons suck hard. You basally have to go through five dungeons in a row and they're all the same basic concept of big, labyrinth warp mazes. Think Strange Journeys Sector E and its bull**** teleporters as an example but repeated way more times than necessary. Outside of plot events this is undoubtedly the worst part of the game.

God I am not enjoying Tales of Grace F to much hmm

Its ok but I dunno I just find there is too much "I NEED TO BE STRONGER TO PROTECT EVERYONE I LOVE" moments going on...and the plot is yet to suck me in

Yeah, my group had that problem with it, too. hmm

Usually it's the characters that draw me in, but none of them were really that interesting to me in Graces.

We finally ended up getting to the end. No plans to do the future arc. tongue

This isn't exactly Tales related, but another JRPG--Has anyone here played Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii? It looks really good, and I want to check it out, but it's super expensive since I think it was a limited release through Gamestop similar to how Metroid Prime Trilogy was. I know that a sequel or spiritual successor "Xenoblade Chronicles X" is coming out on Wii U, and I would like to be able to play the first game.

Also, Tales of Xillia 2 comes out August 19th apparently. big_smile

And some of the voice acting (And you know me I am the LAST person to complain about VA) is just bad, the girl who Voices Sophie...WOW just...no emotion no passion! just soulless!!! D:

Which brings me to another thing - there were no surprises with any of the characters! Besides not having interesting personalities, there was nothing really that interesting that happened to them, either.

I did like Paschal and Hubert's relationship, though. tongue

The only characters I liked in that one at all were Malik and Hubert. Asbel is so boring. And Cheria is even worse. And Pascal is obnoxious. And Richard says "my body" funny.

@stormy...oh I see..thats a dumb plot twist I must say xD I'm up to some snowey industrial type city...but Im stuggling to carry on (just...can not be arsed xD)

Thats another thing, normally I LOVE characters like Pascal (for example Salsa from Eternal Sonata is one of my all time favourite characters) but Pascal...man does she try to hard its just...nasrrghhh!!!! xD

Same. I heard about Pascal before playing the game, thought she sounded fantastic. Got the game, was greeted by "bloop ding thing and stuff kazaam!"

Hows the combat? I hear that's like the only redeemable quality to Graces F. I hear it even uses the CC system that Destiny DC has(Which I'm almost done with btw about 85% in)

Apparently everyone loves the combat, but I actually didn't care for it much. sad I couldn't get used to the CC limiting when I could attack, the weird chaining, or the dodging.

Yeah, I didn't like it either. I like the Symphonia/Abyss/Vesperia/Xillia combat system way better.

How is tales Of Xillia 2 related to the first?! :-P just wondering in case I pick it up

Takes place after Xillia 1 with the exact same cast from the last game(outside of like three new party members) Has the best designed protagonist in the series and I guess it references stuff from Xillia 1.
