@ KingLambda: for the record, i wasn't really thinking of you guys when i said that.

but honestly if i'm not really happy with someone, i think i'd rather just stay single. i don't want to just put up with somebody or always have to make significant concessions for them. is that unrealistic? most likely, but that's the standard to which i will hold my significant other, because.. let's just say, making concessions didn't work last time. it would be pretty unfair to ask somebody to meet that standard who couldn't, anyway.

Well, I do want to get married. Probably with someone who likes to do art and stuff. Creative things, you know. I can work so she can enjoy doing art.
