Re: General Discussion 5

My realization of the bad acting was when Spyro first breathed fire... Just the long, "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

Re: General Discussion 5

Heh, I kind of wish I hadn't sold my two TLoS games. I wasn't paying much attention to the quality of the voice acting when I first played them, but based on that video it sounds like I probably should have.

Re: General Discussion 5

Never noticed that oh well. The voice acting was what it was. Though truth be told I do think Elijah Wood was it? Did a good job as Spyro.

you know what always kind of bugged me? i always felt like the characters in Spyro 2 enunciated a little too much. i know that's random, just.. i don't know. "they sound muCH more daynjurusS then rIp-TTToe"

Re: General Discussion 5

Yeah, it was Elijah Wood. In my opinion, his acting wasn't (necessarily) awful by his standards, but still pretty bad. The problem I have with Elijah Wood is that he can only play the part of someone who's a wuss. Otherwise, it doesn't fit. This is the case for LoS. He played Frodo in the LotR movies, if you didn't know.

Edit: o no someone replied while i was typing

36, I think that was just because of the old 90's microphones. It could be both that and the actors annunciating too much, as otherwise it wouldn't pick up certain sounds.

I noticed that with Hunter especially. Paranoia and I would always make fun of Hunter's weird enunciation. tongue

I noticed it with Elora most. I noticed it with Hunter too, but I don't think nearly as much.

Re: General Discussion 5

Hey shut up, I liked Elijah Wood being the voice of Sparx through that game. It made it fun, enjoyable.
HMMPF

Remember what he said at the end of the game? Yeah, I laughed at that.

Spyro, yes. *bleep* sorry. I get the two mixed up. I like both of their voices a lot in the game.

I've been playing Fallout 3 and finally restored fresh unradiated water to the wasteland. I am a hero. My life feels better. You?

Re: General Discussion 5

I've never played any of Fallout 3's DLCs. Are they good? I've heard that with Broken Steel it allows you to (spoiler for spoilers)

Hidden text

play the game after you're supposed to die.

If I remember right it lets you send Fawkes in since he can't die of radiation anyway, and that's how the game continues.

That DLC was good and so was whatever the swampy one was. The alien one bored me though. Sorry for forgetting the names, it's been 4-5 years...

Re: General Discussion 5

I had an extra five dollars on Steam, and I noticed Call of Juarez: Gunslinger was on sale, so I bought it. It's actually surprisingly good, for a game that came out more than a year ago for fifteen dollars. It's an old west style arcadey-like first-person shooter pretty much entirely based around shooting guys and exploding guys, but beside that, it has a very nice narration and story that coincide with the gameplay a lot.
