Spyro had just defeated the Sorceress for the second time. he was just relaxing in the slightly tropical climate of Agent 9's Lab, listening to the sounds of the water, and the distant sounds of the Professor yelling "DRAT!" at messing up on his newest experiment. suddenly, Sgt. Byrd came through the portal. "Spyro!"
"what is it, Sgt. Byrd?" asked Spyro, sensing the terror in his voice.
"some of the enemies are still around, and they're attacking my base! there are rhynocs, riptocs, even other creatures like ogres and wyrms!"
"oh, Sgt. Byrd," Spyro groaned, "i haven't gotten to relax since i first came to the forgotten realms. can't you guys get them?"
"very well, Spyro," Sgt. Byrd said, and off he went to defend his home base.

later on, Spyro woke up from a nap and exclaimed, "that was horrible of me! i need to go help my friend!"
just as he got there, he saw Sgt. Byrd shoot a wyrm, which released a gem as it disappeared. "last one!" Sgt. Byrd yelled.
he then bent down to pick up the gem.
Spyro exclaimed, "hey! let me have that one! what if Moneybags comes along and i need it?"
