My pet corn snake gave me a very uncommon chance to see it shed just a
few afternoons ago, and I was able to get a good recording of it. :]

So if you want to see a snake shed, up close and in detail, here ya go. ^.^

Wow, thanks for sharing big_smile I noticed it stopped wriggling near the end. Was that when it ran out of ribs?

I believe so. That was the tail section where there are no muscles that move
in such a way. The rest of the shed sticks enough that the tail section can be
pulled off. But shedding is a really important event to watch over because if
the snake doesn't shed properly then it can cause a serious health problem.

That was really neat/interesting. And what a beautiful snake! I've gotten to see my leopard gecko shed a few times. I have to watch her closely too to make sure she doesn't get skin stuck in her eyes or on her toes.

On another note, it's been a really long time since I've been on here. I really want to be regularly active here again, but it's so hard with college and all of the other fun things that come along with being an adult. roll

But some of those things are really good! I got engaged to my boyfriend of 5 years back in June at the beach.

This was before he proposed to me. I had no idea he was going to (I just thought we were taking pictures for fun).

We also recently got some Belgian draft horses! Libby is on the left and Liz is on the right.

Thanks! Yeah, I told the people on SpyroChat, but I thought I'd let everybody else here know.

And Swaffy, they're mainly used for pulling things. Sleds, carts, wagons, logs, etc. In that particular picture, my dad was just driving them while me and my friend sat on them. Me and my fiancé actually ride them too. They've never actually been trained to ride, but since they're used to driving, they take to it pretty well. The only problem is none of our saddles for our quarter horses fit them, so we have to go bareback! But their bigness makes them pretty easy to stay on. They're like big comfy couches! Haha!

i'm not that bad, but i don't like crowds, and by "crowds" i mean groups of like 4 people or more, and when i'm in one for an extended period of time, i don't panic, but i'm good without talking to people in real life for days or weeks if, in theory, none of my friends were to contact me.

then again, i'm kind of like that already anyway. edit: i did score 89% introverted on that personality test someone put up a few months ago.
