Re: Turf 'n' turf! The FOOD topic!
i like bacon, but it is overrated. all food is overrated. it's just food.
i like a variety of foods, but i find it hard to list categories for you all. for example, i like fruit, but i don't like apples, i like meat, but only if it's done in a very specific way.
my favorite food is probably either macaroni and cheese or pizza.

Re: Turf 'n' turf! The FOOD topic!
I hate when vegetarians try to make me not eat meat. My grandmother and my mom are both vegetarians and they claim to 'not be trying to make me vegetarian' but they do it all the time, and I can tell. They always say "You shouldn't eat meat," "You're eating poor animals" and all that crap. The way I see it, companies like Tyson are going to keep killing chickens and making their products no matter what I do. I'm just one person. I can't stop it alone. Maybe hinder their progress by an unnoticeable amount, but nothing else. I've even seen that movie "Food Inc." that I've heard "has made people into vegetarians" but I wasn't really affected by it. Also, BACONBACONBACONBACONBACON.
I hope to not start anything here, so I'll just be careful on how I word it.
While I have no problem with vegetarians, (as I'm sure not all of them feel the same way about meat), I do have a problem with people who like to tell you what you should and should not eat. And while I don't mean to say this to be offensive, people who tell you that you're eating a poor helpless animal is more than likely an animal activist. I will never quite understand why these people seem to think animals such as live stock, or animals that are a food source, should be treated like a citizen. Don't get me wrong, I'm against animal cruelty, but some people take the lives animals a bit too far.
Other than that, I can say that I love meat. I'm not that overly fond of sea food, but I do like tuna and salmon. I also love mashed potatoes.

Personally, bacon is so good that even vegetarians have to admit it. #yolo

similar thing happens for me, but from the opposite site
I get ill maybe about twice a year, and when I am my mum is always like "That's because you don't eat meat. You should eat it. You definitely have not enough iron." also my brothers often makes silly jokes etc.
Same! My mom talks about iron all the time. Even though I take vitamins every day that contain a lot of iron, my mom and dad are still like "Meat is great! Why don't you like it?"
I have very childlike tastes in food. I like everything separate. I like vegetables, but not salad. I like raw vegetables, but not cooked vegetables.
My mom says "Your taste buds haven't matured yet." I wonder if they ever will. Most people I know that are my age are eating things like pasta with all sorts of weird stuff in it. I like just plain cooked pasta with nothing other than pasta noodles in it though. Interestingly, I don't like macaroni and cheese or spaghetti. (People often think I'm crazy when I say I don't like spaghetti.)

It's true. I am a vegetarian myself but I still eat bacon occasionally (although, I think that ruins the whole point of being a vegetarian) :-P
