somewhat. we seem to have a mutual tolerance for each other's tastes in music, with a few bands in common.

i would actually rather she weren't a big metalhead, though. that's hard to explain, but i actually really like that she likes different music than i do. maybe it's that i haven't had a lot of notable positive experiences in the metal community. but yeah, i'm glad. ^^ heh, thanks, everyone.

Oh yes, I completely understand your point of view. From what I can
gather, you two have a minor difference in music, one that isn't so far
apart you feel like you are from completely different cultures. That's good.
I dated a girl who liked Indy music mainly consisting of acoustic love
songs. It's a different style than what I listen to but it was still relaxing.
Though we stopped dating due to other reasons in which I would rather not
share (out of respect), this was one of the positive things in our dating
relationship. I guess there are some small things that need to be different
so that you two can keep learning about each other.

Here is my advise. Ignore her. She is just desperately trying to distance herself from disney and it is not working out at all.

I think that when you're a child actor, becoming an adult becomes so much harder. Even if she tried to be a normal adult who just wanted to have fun, people would still throw '*bleep*' and 'disgusting' at her. She's clearly trying to escape the Hannah Montana period of her life, perhaps not in the best way, but I don't see much wrong with what she's doing. After all, she was dancing to a song that has a group of naked women in the music video.

She's trying to hard, and it gets on my nerves TBH...There better ways of showing your grown up than parading around and acting like that. and It kinda irritates me that to appear grown up stars need to show of there chest, *bleep* or whatever...why? why is this?

I'm going to agree with this advice. The more we pay attention to these celebrities doing their crazy celebrity things, the more they'll just want to do it more. It's kind of like feeding the trolls... sort of. If no one paid attention to half the *bleep* they do, they'd have no reason to keep doing it.

But on the other hand... I've never liked Miley Cyrus, even when she was doing the Hannah Montana thing. Always thought she'd be the type to do these kinds of things. And now I get to say "I told you so!" to everyone who tried to tell me she's not so bad. tongue Also one of my friends used to think she's attractive... wonder what he thinks now. XD

Re: General Discussion 5

Kind of a change of mood here...

Today something happened that somewhat shook me. I was driving home
from the college I attend, on Interstate 35. Just relaxing, listening to music on
my way home. Then a big white Suburban, on the opposing side of the
highway, lost control and slammed into the barrier right next to me. I was not
worried about myself, but the person in that Suburban. When it hit the barrier,
I watched the whole side crunch in and the sound wave hit my chest. Almost
like a small explosion happened. I had one of those moments where my heart
sunk and I could only be worried about the health of the people in the
Suburban. I prayed for them, and I hope they are okay.

I've never seen an accident where someone was harmed myself, but I have seen a few that turned into an accident afterwards. One time when my sister and I were driving home, a guy on a motorcycle was in front of us, and his helmet fell off. It was speeding down towards us, and luckily, there was no one to our left because my sister had to swerve into the next lane to dodge it. Later, we heard there was an accident in that spot. Another time, we were driving up to my grandparents' house and a guy in a Subaru spun out on this sharp turn, and again, we were lucky as hell because we were at a safe distance behind him, and were able to go around him, and avoid hitting anything, but we later heard there was a big accident on that same road. The guy was probably hurt really bad, since when he spun out, the driver's side was exposed. Hopefully he was able to turn around a bit before the accident. But just imagine if that helmet or that car had hit us.

The rain was really bad around were I live a few days ago, and today i drove through the beach that is next to the woods, good grief the damage is astounding, and it was really only rain...no wind or lightning. But trees and big clumps of wood are piled up, the paves tones by a cafe have been pulled out and the car park is filled with mud
