Yeah, there's a big Curse Networks banner at the bottom of the page now. Someone from that company actually came into Spyrochat asking to buy our wiki, too, but SR didn't sell it to them.

Everyone says they hate darkSpyro's layout, but I don't honestly think it's that terrible.... I mean, it could probably do without the solid grey background on the forums page, but that's pretty much my only real complaint about it.

The point is, that site is DEFINITELY not the place to have any sort of Religious/Political "clubs" because all that it brings is unwanted attention and unnecessary counterproductive arguments. What will start as a harmless club will become a debate that will turn into a fight, this has happened before and will happen again, and I'm not talking about the religious battles I got in 3 or so years ago another religious war happened recently.

I don't care about people's political stances, I have my own political stance and, while I don't agree or get along with conservatives, I really don't give a toss. But so far someone has already accused someone of believing Obama's "lies" so I don't see this lasting very long. It should've been closed down as soon as it was started, same goes for ANY political club because this site certainly does not have the maturity to discuss these sort of things in a civil manner plus it also creates demographics and splits the community, things like political/religious views SHOULDN'T matter in the long run.

What i don't get is...it is a SPYRO fansite...why are politics and religios matters so dominating and dividing on s SPYRO website? I mean...its spyro the dragon...not the supreme cort :-P

Well... I sort of agree, but we do talk about more things than just Spyro on Spyroforum. It's natural that things like politics will come up because they're things that we think about. That's no excuse for those discussions getting as heated as they do, though.

For the most part, I think this forum does a good job of handling political discussions maturely when they happen to come up. Maybe it's because we rarely talk about it. tongue

I know but last time i checked dark Spyro was filled with like...9-13 year olds...when i was that age i did not really have much interest in how parliament was going :-P let alone join a -giggles- political club...i'm sorry but...its a Spyro website...with a political club thing xD I mean...really?! Some things I think I'm pretty sure on, but I'm still undecided about a lot of things. The problem is there's really no political party that I could say I side with. There's something wrong with all of them, just, like you said, some more than others.
