Microsoft doing complete reversal on XBone's DRM policies
So apparently Microsoft is changing their mind on all this DRM business.
edit: looks like giantbomb is down, here's another article on the same issue: http://www.theverge.com/2013/6/19/44459 … al-changes

@JeremyJahns: "Apparently, addressing #BOXone issues after you defended it throughout the biggest game expo of the year is the smart approach. #XBoxDone"

Well, what else are they going to do? They realized they made a mistake and fixed it.... I was never going to buy the new Xbox so I'm not defending them out of loyalty, but it's surprising to me that people are still complaining....
Honestly, if they really hate it that much, all they have to do is not buy it.

Kinda funny in my eyes.

Re: Microsoft doing complete reversal on XBone's DRM policies
Nope
Now DRM 180 is a win for consumer but that doesn't change the fact that it's a inferior system and doesn't have any games I want to play.
Also, given recent years of MS pushing casual, casual, casual and non-gaming *bleep* at E3 this is all just way to lure the first batch of actual gamers in so they can start marketing it like a tv box again.

To be perfectly honest, I feel bad for their employees who were working on all the technologies that were just scrapped. Who knows how long they were working on it and now it was all for nothing.

Re: Microsoft doing complete reversal on XBone's DRM policies
I don't feel bad for having it scrapped, the idea was retarded. Who I feel bad for is the programmers and engineers whose jobs it was to make it work. It wasn't their creative decision to implement it, nor was it theirs to take it out. Who knows how many hours/days/weeks/even months they put into working on it, just to have it all scrapped.

Comes with the job I guess, I mean look at the shining, apparently the actress in the film playing the wife had alot more lines, however they were cut due to the directors disappointment with her delivery.
So i guess you just have to accept it, but I guess it would suck ![]()

Well, it was good that people got onto them about it. They need to know
what's good and what's not good. Like a child being taught. MS is a child.
