Hello. I'm purple_dragon_spyro. Spyro is one of my favorite video game characters and has been for a long time. Spyro: Year of the Dragon was my first video game I've ever played that's not made for 4-year olds. XD

I enjoy music. Some of my favorite musicians and bands are The Beach Boys, Grace Slick, and The Sonics. (The Sonics has nothing to do with a certain hedgehog. Or basketball.) I play electric guitar and flute. I also enjoy singing.

So... yeah... that's my introduction.

To be honest, I didn't mind the link at all, and didn't see it much as
advertising. More like letting us know what she's into doing. It is Spyro related

Agreed, definitely. It's just that people in the past have registered with the sole intention of spamming their stuff everywhere, and I wanted to make sure that wouldn't be the case, not that _icy was giving that impression. Sorry if I sounded too harsh or anything!

Good afternoon,

My name's Mateos, I'm 20 and playing Spyro since the release of the second title (Gateway to Glimmer since I'm French), bundled with a PSOne (so I have a Spyro CD case /o/). I completed numerous times (Once in a day @ 100%, was bored started a new game). Then in 2001 YotD has been released, bought it, played it smile About the first title, I've been able to play it with my cousin years ago, then later I grabbed ePSXe and played/completed it. Bought it as a PS1 CD this year (Complete with box and manual, or nothing!), and completed it in a week-end.

So you have understood, I'm more a fan of the Insomniac Era than later, but I also own some GBA title (Season of Ice, Adventures, Orange [meh]).

I've discovered these forums while looking for ASCII Spyro for my Steam profile, saw it was active, registered, joined IRC smile

It's good to see there're still communities around!
