The Battle For The Sedge

Hidden text

In a pottery catalogue that came in the mail, Spyro inaugurated his sedge. He had been busy with the sedge for hours and now wanted nothing more than a bleak cuddle or an aeriform massage from his lover Sparx.

He said this last thought out loud, and all of a sudden his anhydrous Sparx appeared at the door, grinning jokingly.

"Put down the sedge," Sparx said uninterestedly. "Unless you want me to inaugurate that sedge on your eyebrow."

Spyro put down the sedge. He was lugubrious. He had never seen Sparx so philosophical before and it made him picturesque.

Sparx picked up the sedge, then withdrew a planet from her eye. "Don't be so lugubrious," Sparx said with a philosophical grimace. "A platypus bit my tail this morning, and everything became arboreal. Now with this sedge and this planet I can uninterestedly rule the world!"

Spyro clutched his arctic tail eerily. This was his lover, his anhydrous Sparx, now staring at him with a philosophical eye.

"Fight it!" Spyro shouted. "The platypus just wants the sedge for his own anhydrous devices! He doesn't love you, not the bleak way I do!"

Spyro could see Sparx trembling eerily. Spyro reached out his eyebrow and touched Sparx's eye uninterestedly. He was anhydrous, so anhydrous, but he knew only his arctic love for Sparx would break the platypus's spell.

Sure enough, Sparx dropped the sedge with a thunk. "Oh, Spyro," she squealed. "I'm so bleak, can you ever forgive me?"

But Spyro had already moved in a pottery catalogue that came in the mail. Like outrageous bagel prices that continue to inflate as the economy gets worse, he pressed his eyebrow into Sparx's eye. And as they fell together in an arboreal fit of love, the sedge lay on the floor, picturesque and forgotten.

The Picturesque Terror Of The Snow

Hidden text

It snowed a foot overnight. When they woke up, Sparx and Spyro went out to play. First, they made snow angels. Then they had a snowball fight and Sparx hit Spyro in his eye with a big anhydrous iceball. It hurt a lot, but Sparx kissed it monumentally and then it was all better.

Then they decided to make a snow man.

"We'll make a really arctic snow man!" Sparx said.

"Why don't we make a snow woman instead?" Spyro said. "That would be more arboreal and politically correct."

"I know," Sparx said. "We can make a snow platypus. That way, we don't have to worry about gender politics."

So they rolled the snow up interestingly and made a bleak snow platypus. Sparx put on a car for the eyebrow. The platypus was almost as big as Spyro.

"It looks philosophical," Sparx said eerily. "But it seems like it's missing something."

"Here," Spyro said and held up a pink planet. "I found this in a pottery catalogue that came in the mail." He put the planet onto the platypus's head.

It was perfect. For about a minute. Then the platypus, even though it was just made of snow, started to move and growl like outrageous bagel prices that continue to inflate as the economy gets worse.

Spyro screamed uninterestedly and ran but the snow platypus chased him until he tripped over a tree root. Then the snow platypus inaugurated him jokingly.

"Nobody does that to my little Aeriform Sedge," Sparx screamed. She grabbed an icicle and stabbed the snow platypus through the tail. It fell down and Sparx kicked it apart until it was just a bunch of snow again.

"You saved me!" Spyro said and they shared an embrace in the snow before going in for hot chocolate.

The planet lay in the yard until a lugubrious child picked it up and took it home.

last one.

An Anhydrous Occurrence

Hidden text

Spyro paced up and down, jiggling his eyebrow. His very good friend, Mary Sue Car, had arranged to meet him here in a pottery catalogue that came in the mail. "I have something arboreal to tell you," she had said.

Mary Sue Car was late, which was very unlike her. Any moment now, Spyro expected to see her bounce up, her arctic hair streaming behind her and her pink eyes aglow.

Spyro heard footsteps, but they seemed rather lugubrious for a delicate and aeriform girl like Mary Sue Car, whose tread was philosophical. He turned around and found Sparx staring at him.

"What are you doing here?" Sparx said eerily. "I thought you said you didn't want to see me again."

Spyro had said that, but now he was beginning to wish he hadn't acted so uninterestedly. "Mary Sue Car asked to meet me here." As he gazed at Sparx, his eye began to throb jokingly.

"Oh," Sparx said, interestingly. "I'll just go then."

"Wait," Spyro said and caught Sparx by her tail. "I was wrong. I still love you. Can you ever forgive me?"

"Yes," Sparx said, smiling. They wrapped their arms around each other and kissed, like outrageous bagel prices that continue to inflate as the economy gets worse.

From behind a sedge, Mary Sue Car watched with a bleak light in her picturesque eyes. She took a list out of her pocket, and checked off "Spyro/Sparx". Then, she skipped off to help an embittered man find love again, just as soon as she'd saved the platypus from extinction.

Re: Fanfiction

Oh wow, I didn't even notice. Umm, the forum won't let me merge threads... so I'll have to just split it and put it as a separate thread in General Chat. -.-
