I always have a hard time believing that the WBC actually believe what they say and are not, in fact, some elaborate demonstration of Poe's law. Either way, I propose that we all just treat them like internet trolls and don't even respond to their antics, and maybe they'd go away. Not like that would ever actually happen....

It's really ridiculous how people jump on tragic events like this and use them to push an agenda of some kind. So many people yesterday were quick to blame certain groups (Muslims, "right-wingers", or even God in this case) without any actual proof.

Twitter was full of Tweets and trends yesterday that clearly showed people assuming this was caused by some sort of Muslim group... even though there's absolutely no evidence for this.

And unsurprisingly conspiracy theories are already emerging.

well sadly one of my friends was telling me how her cousin has started to publicly like racist Facebook pages hmm That's one reason i'd like to avoid using Facebook.

Was at school today. I have never seen or heard a quieter day in a school building in my life.

And everyone is right, it really isn't fair that people automatically assume it was Muslims.

It really is disgusting. I have coworkers who were joking about it right after it happened and one of my friends was commenting on how he can't resist going to "Too soon" websites to see what the jokes are. I find it distasteful and will be avoiding these jokes.

You should of seen our religois education lessons when I was in highschool.

It worries me how uneducated schools allow people to be about religion. All Christians are rapists, are Muslims are terrorists, all Jews are greedy and also terrorists, all Buddhists are opium crazy old men, etc. according to so many people.

Fortuelty i hear the RE dapartment has improoved alot since the treach I had left, my friends sister still goas and apparently its become quite a popular subject, funny considering it was the least populer when I went tongue

"Hotness" is not all that matters to girls, actually. If anything, it's the other way around where guys care more about "hotness" than anything else, but I still wouldn't go as far as to say that's all they care about. I'm slightly abnormal for not caring much about looks, though, so I can't really speak for all girls. tongue

She has a interview on TV and whenever woman tried to say "woman don't hate you because your pritty" she got very mouthy

in her defense though, it's not so much her as it is the mindset. all life has value, regardless of what that life-form does with itself, which in her case seems to be shallow judgment and gallons of coffee in the morning. my concern lies more with the fact that a mindset like this is given enough notoriety and prominence that somebody can actually feel justified in having it. or maybe it's just the town's-water-supply's worth of coffee talking.

if not, she needs a reality check.

have i mentioned i think this lady needs to lay off the caffeine?
