hey, kids! are you and your family planning to visit the fun city of Pyongyang, North Korea? well, you'll have to learn a few things about the country before you visit, right?

when you think of North Korea, what's the first thing that comes to your mind? eating in a nice restaurant to the sounds of traditional Korean music? beautiful mountain ranges? portraits of its various leaders over the past half century? all three are right! but to get the full experience of the taste of North Korean culture, it is important to understand the manners expected of guests in the country! alright, let's learn some DPR etiKette!

first, surely you'll want to photograph all of the beautiful portraits of Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jong-Il that are just about everywhere, right? well, it's very important that you capture the ENTIRE portrait in your photo! the same goes for the giant statue of Kim Il-Sung in Pyongyang.

second, Western music isn't necessary. you can leave your thousands of metal CDs at home, as the sounds of the traditional Korean kayagum will be enough for your listening pleasure.

finally, going back to the giant statue in Pyongyang, it's very important that you don't bow down in front of the statue. and remember to get the whole thing in the photographs!

alright! now you can go to Pyongyang with all of your loved ones (and you might even return with them, too) , and have fun the DPRK way.
