I need People to Talk To!

My Dad is going to jail tomarrow and I am so depressed. He's not going to be gone a long time(only 3 months) but I am really going to miss him and need some advice on how to get by and feel better.

Also I know this question is going to be asked so I will answer it now. He is going to jail because he found his wife, not my mom my step mom, with another guy and he beat the hell out of the guy.

Please Help!

Your dad's anger is completely justified. What is not right is how he chose to deal with it.

I'm sure your dad is a good person and he just made a bad decision that one time. That's perfectly normal; we're all human. The important thing to remember is that he's still your same dad and he'll be back soon, possibly changed for the better.

....... I know the feeling Bluespirit, my mother went to jail just a month agao, she said she'll be able to make it for my wedding, and my father has a very long sentecing [longer than it's going for me to get married?]

All I can tell you is, head up, eyes open, and never ever forget how they have more good acts towards them then bad [only, nobody counts good deeds here on earth...]

If it really get's you down REALLY badly i would not rule out going to the doctor and seeing if they can give you Anti-depressants, I don't think "Turning to drugs" so to speak is a good thing but desperate times call for desperate measures.

W_J, I couldn't agree more.

Anitdepressants are great, but take them only if you really need to, like if your doctor diagnoses you with clinical depression. You ultimatly want to be able to live your life without the drugs.

Well, I have snuck a fue sips of Smirnof when my gardins wernt looking [Smirnof is like soda with booze slipped in from the heck of it] I'm not the town drunk or anything [that would be pretty hard concidering out "town square is made up of 3 casinos, 4 bars and 2 conveince stores.... go Silver Springs!]
Just the town idiot .... ok maybe not but I'm in the top 100 [out of ... well 300]

White Russian? Sounds... exoctic and tantlising, like Desert Juniper Gin, but playful and coy too... but I can promise you I'm not a drunk... right now...
