I read it. I don't like it at all. It's only a rumor, but if it becomes true then I
won't be wasting my money on that system. It will be a big "hell no" from me.

Yeah, that is pretty stupid. And yet, I'll bet fanboys everywhere will still buy it anyway. tongue

I'd heard people say the PS4 was going to be like that, but I'm quite relieved it's only the Xbox because I don't typically like too many Xbox games anyway.

with any luck, this will warn other companies that using your business as a global-scale Mario Party does NOT sell, and they will hopefully keep some kind of sanity within their walls.

Now I completely agree with people who say they are trying to rip more
money out of us. I remember back when they changed the price of a year of
Xbox Live from $50 to $60. That was already enough. Then you had to have
separate subscriptions to stuff like Netflix and ... Hulu or whatever there is.
And if I dropped hundreds of dollars on a system, I am not going to tolerate
being told how I am going to play my games.

I have a nice PC now, so I might just convert to PC gaming. In a way, that's
what I've been doing anyway because I haven't had the money to spend on a
new Xbox Live subscription. It's been a few months since I've last played my
Xbox (also because of War Thunder).

So In Ni No Kuni. After leaving the Fairygrounds I happen to stumble upon a quaint a little island off the northwest of Autimia, There I found what is known as Toko, Basically the Metal Slimes of Ni No Kuni, Beings that give a crapton of experience points when killed. I also heard they have highest evasion stat in the game so I thought I would try to catch one.

2 days later, I am now Level 45! Most of my famillers are in their final forms, And I haven't caught a single Toko. Later on I checked they actually have a friggen 2% catch rate. There I said screw that and left the island.

So now I am Level 45, Most of my famillers which include a Mite, A Purrloiner, A sprite thingy I caught in the ocean, The skeleton, My mongoose etc. Are now at their final forms.

And I haven't even gone to Hamelin yet.

That reminds me. One of my roommates recently bought another 360 because his broke, even though he plays no games and only wanted it for Netflix. Unless you can use Netflix without Xbox live (I don't think you can), that seemed kind of dumb to me to pay for both.

I've never been a fan of Xbox (games never interested me, save a few indie games which are mostly all available on PC and make it to PSN eventually), but if they're truly incorporating online only, no used games, new required Kinect shenanigans, AND paid membership, I'm pretty sure their core fans aren't going to stick around. If the rumors are true, I hope that the console will fail so the game industry will move away from that stuff. I'm sure we've all heard the reception that the new online-only Sim City game got. You would think Microsoft would be a little smarter.

I wish I had the money to get a good PC, but it just doesn't seem like a good investment to me since they'll be outdated in a couple years. I'll probably get a Wii U in a few years once the price drops (and there are some Zeldas, Metroids, Kirbys, and new 3D Marios) and I'm not even going to think about getting a PS4 since I just recently bought my PS3 a couple years ago. Sony stuff's expensive. neutral

Im just sticking with Playstation, I like to play most genres (bar racing simulators and sports) its exclusives cater towards all my gaming needs NiNoKuni- JRPG, Sly 4- Platformer, God of war- Hack n slash Last of us- survival shooter etc etc I used to own a 360 back in the 2007-2008 era when it offered a better variety of games than Ps3, when Rare were still making good games (Kameo and Viva pinata) and not the kinect sports poop they are now. It just seems Microsoft are now focusing on a small handful of IPS that arent kinect exlcusive (which 90% of the time means the titles bad and/or casual)

Halo and Gears are great games, but I cant just survive on shooters alone. Microsofts focus on tv and entertainment>maintaining and expanding IPs aswell as 1st party developers, I mean Bungie making their new game for Ps3/4 too? Im also not a fan of xbox live, I pay for Playstation Plus and get full free games every month for both my vita and ps3 aswell as other content such as early access to exclusive BETAs. With Xbox live you pay the same price for a similar experience to PSN just with party chat..

In terms of PC gaming for the most part they have the definitive version of alot of 3rd party games however, the fact they dont get Red dead redemption and GTA V aswell as some games super late such as Dark Souls is really off putting. Also alot of the exclusive games such as ARA, Day Z and Sim City are really generic and lack the soul and quality of console exclusives.

Ive always played Nintendo on the side though, I love the 3DS but the Wii U isn't looking too good at the minute. Gonna wait till Smash bros etc come out.

To be fair there supposed to have the best evasion stat in the game. Maybe higher leveled Tokos would be easier to catch.

Also unlocked the casino in Nnk. Thanks to a couple of hours in Platoon. My money problems are now a thing in the past.

Learned last night I am going through clinical depression. Probably have been
for over two years. Just broke my phone with my bare hands, Samsung
Galaxy, it's folded like a wallet on my dresser. I shouldn't buy a gun, I might
end up putting a round through my temple.
