Chapter 1: A visit from an old friend

Spyro is working in his office when his phone rings.
Spyro answers it. “General Spyro A. Peacekeeper.”
“Sir, we’ve got a problem in the lobby. A red dragon with a metal body is demanding to see you. He’s already put 3 massive holes in the wall.” says the caller.
“Typical Drobot, he’s not known for his patience.” says Spyro to himself.
“Send him up.” says Spyro into the phone before he hangs up.
Meanwhile in the lobby, the receptionist is talking nervously to the red dragon.
“You take the lift up to the 75th floor. That is where the C.O is. You need this Visitor ID to access the lifts.”
Says the receptionist before he gives Drobot an ID card

The Metal Dragon walks to a lift and calls it.
“I’m glad that trigger happy lunatic is gone.” says the receptionist. “I HEARD THAT!” says the dragon before he gets in the lift and it starts to rise. The receptionist yelps in surprise.
The doors close and it starts to rise.
“That evil coas was a pain in the *bleep* to Mater Eon. I am glad we PWND him and kicked him out of Skylands.
Anyway, a lot have change since the great merge of Skylands but one thing hasn’t and that’s evil always trying to overthrow the forces of good.” Says the metal dragon before the lift arrives at Spyro’s floor and he gets out.

Lucy, Spyro’s secretary is typing on her computer.
The dragon knocks on the desk. Lucy sees a metal clad dragon with glowing eyes before she yelps in surprise and nearly falls off her chair.
“Eep, you made my jump with your glowing eyes” says Lucy.
“I’m sorry.” says the metal dragon before he dims his eyes light.
“Can I help you?” asks Lucy.
“Yes. My name is Drobot. Spyro’ expecting me.” Replies Drobot.
Lucy presses her intercom. “Drobot to see you sir, he says you’re expecting him.” Says Lucy.
“Send him in.” Says Spyro before his office door buzzes.
Drobot pulls open the office door and walks in before closing it. “He’s muscular, mysterious and has a cute voice. I like that in a male.” Says Lucy.
“He heard that.” says her intercom.
Lucy eeps and she realises she forgot to turn off the intercom.
“Sorry sir,” says Lucy. “He doesn’t mind and said thanks for compliment.” Says Spyro. She blushes and says
“Thank you sir” before she hangs up.

Meanwhile in Spyro’s office, Drobot and Spyro are having a chat over a coffee.
“So how have you been Drobotus?” asks Spyro.
“Fine thanks. You?” asks Drobotus.
“Busy, protecting the realms, paperwork and managing the PSAS” replies Spyro.
“PSAS?” asks Drobotus. “Peacekeeper Special Air Service.” replies Spyro. “Oh. Ok.” Says Drobotus.
“I see you haven’t changed your suit much apart from a new paint job that matches your scales.” Says Spyro.
“Thanks.” Says Drobot.
“Did you know there has been advances in metal technology and there is an advance alloy called ‘Dragoninum’ that 300x stronger and lighter that than the alloy used in previous armour.” Asks Spyro.
“I didn’t” replies Drobotus.
“That’s because it’s mostly used by the PSAS as armour and not used in general public use.” Says Spyro.
“Oh.” Says Drobotus.

“I was wondering. Do you want to update your suit’s armour to the new alloy?” asks Spyro.
“I don’t know. I’m worn this suit for years and I’m quite attached to it.” Replies Drobotus. “I know.” Says Spyro.
“I have the suit specs in my memory but I can’t access them.” Says Drobot.
“Computers have advanced over the years. I’m sure I’ll be able to get the specs out of the suit’s memory.” Says Spyro.
“This suit has a biomechanical interface that took many tears to perfect and I don’t want it damaged.” Says Drobtus in a concerned voice.

“The PSAS have been developing biomechanical interfaces for years. Top secret mind you...” says Spyro.
“Of course” says Drobotus.
“We have got so advanced, we can link a dragon’s brain to a computer and the dragon can walk in a virtual world like he can in reality.” Says Spyro.
“Sounds awesome.” Says Drobotus.

“Shall we go to my lab and get started?” asks Spyro.
“Sure.” Replies Drobotus in an excited voice.
“Stand in the ring on the office floor.” Says Spyro before he stands in the ring.
Drobot stands in the ring. “This will feel a little funny.” Says Spyro before he taps on a console on his armband.
3 metal rings come out of the ring on the floor and they disappear in a flash of white light before the rings retract back into the floor.
