Was just listening to the Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Soundtrack awesome songs!

Anyone ever heard a soundtrack from a video game they loved if so what was it? Action games like Metal Gear and Bioshock have action paced songs for example. So what was your favourite song from an Original Video Game Soundtrack?

Honestly, even though it's pretty cliche for a Spyro forum, the original Spyro the Dragon. Still my favorite soundtrack in a game.

Oh my, I could speak about video game soundtrack for hours ^.^ Here are some of my favourite:
Spyro: Fireworks factory, Glimmer, Peace keepers, ...
TLOS: valleys of avalar, dreams, art gallery, ...
Gex: rezopolis, secrets, cartoon, ...
Heroes of might and magic IV: grass, sand, chaos, ...
Plants vs zombies - ending
Starcraft Brood war music
Populous the beginning music
...
and so on

Although i off the bat said Ape Escape, i have specifics from different series:

Ape Escape: Theme Song, Credits, and Special End Credits.
Spyro: Theme Song, Lofty Caste, Magic Crafters Theme
Spyro 2: All of it (Seriously, even the hated Magma Cone song XD)
Spyro 3: Midnight mountain, fireworks factory, evening lake
Spyro 4: Theme song (Wonderful song, sadly in a terrible game)
Resident Evil 3: Credits Song
The Sims Bustin Out: Pop 5
The Urbz: All of it, i loved it!

Spyro: A New Beginning soundtrack. the music for the different areas is just beautiful. maybe the music for Dante's Freezer is a little too dark, but the ambient part of it is done wonderfully, and reminds me oddly of something Vinterriket or Paysage d'hiver might do in one of their more relaxing moments.

convincing me just a little bit more that TLOS is a project done by a bunch of underground metalheads.

but combining symphonic music with atmospheric elements just works. by the way, is that soundtrack still available for legal download anywhere?

I actually agree with your choice 36IStillLikeSpyro36, I did enjoy the soundtrack for Spyro A New Beginning as well as the soundtracks for Eternal Night and Dawn of The Dragon, especially the music in the Chronicler Dreams levels and the Twilight Falls music.

Toss-up between Tomba! 2 soundtrack and Legend of Dragoon soundtrack. Two of the only games I actually stopped playing for a while just to listen to it.

Yeah, I also played it first on a demo disk, but idk which number or what it was. I think it was some opsm demo or something like that. There were one of the best games I've played on it, but our naughty relatives stole it hmm It took me a long time until I found out name of one of the game which was on the disk (I couldn't remember it, bc it was too long). We have never lend them any game since then...
