Re: Music thread
musical maturity seems a bit hard to find in metal - a lot of elitism there, because "METAL IS TOUGH and BRUTAL and COOL". thankfully some bands are REALLY starting to push those limits, and expanding the available styles for "true" metalheads.
but even though i like dark ambient and folk/black metal, i'll also say that i have no problem with the sound of "Baby" by Justin Bieber. my gripe there is that it's all for the money. and the lyrics make me cringe. but the sound itself is fine to me.
Yes, I find baby incredibly catchy, but the lyrics are just awful.

Re: Music thread
So, my music playlist now has nearly 200 songs in it. If you want to listen to Dubstep, DnB, Drumstep, Darkstep, Electro House, Moombahton, Moombahcore, Trap... that sort of thing for 14 hours, here you go:

Hey everyone ... I'm looking for some good music to go to sleep with. If you
have any music suggestions, I'll check it out.

How about this? Or were you thinking of something more ambient?

Re: Music thread
I prefer more stuff from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Probably my favorite singer would be Elton John. When Rocketman or Crocodile Rock start playing, I always find myself singing along.
EDIT: Forgot to mention: Paul Simon is a favorite of mine as well
