Loved it. I thought the development of Middle Earth is actually better than the original trilogy thanks to the more laid back tone it takes. I liked the characters, Hoping more of them get developed in the sequels.

Only real complaint I have with it was the troll scene. Which I felt kinda dragged a little. But overall great movie.

The hobbit was a good film but I wish the orcs and goblins were people in makeup like in lotr instead of CGI, that bothered me quite a bit actually sad Martin Freeman is a legend though

I rarely watch movies, but one of my favorites was War of the Worlds.

On the other hand, the most hilariously bad movie I've watched was Fantastic Mr. Fox. For some reason though, the reviews all said good things about it.
But it's WROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNG

I normaly love stop motion animation, but that film just looked ugly..,

I also enjoyed Coraline, Corpse Bride, Nightmare Before Christmas, and still wanna see Frankenweenie, also here is the trailer for Evil Dead 2013.

I agree about the eagles, that complaint is just stupid, if they took the egals then enjoy your 3 hor long film drawfs on a egle.

So I just got back from seeing The Last Stand.

It was pretty good. Action was good, Nice to see Arnold back in a movie that is not a cameo role for once.

They don't use the eagles because why would the eagles want to carry them all the way to the lonely mountain? It's dangerous and far away from there home, dropping them off near Mirkwood was generous for the proud eagles and only done as a favor for Gandlaf.

I agree about the eagles, that complaint is just stupid, if they took the egals then enjoy your 3 hor long film drawfs on a egle.

I was saying that the Eagles wouldn't carry them the whole way because why would they?

That's how I interpret it as well. The eagles in Middle Earth are a very proud race, and almost never serve anyone's goal but their own. The only reason they ever help any of the main characters at all in The Hobbit or LOTR is because of the close relationship they have with Radagast.
