I'll make sure to check that out. And I found this place just by searching around, looking for an answer to my question. I've been a Spyro fan for years, in fact, Ripto's Rage was the first game I ever played, and to this day, it still my favorite game of all time. Although, I haven't played much other than the original trilogy. I haven't played EtD or AHT yet because of all the bed reviews they received, and I played about 2 hours of the first Legend of Spyro game before getting bored.

A hero's tail is good, i think the bad press is uncalled for, as for etd i think...best avoid, and if you are planning on getting into the legend serries (but i dobt you will xD) just skip out on dawn of the dragon it is...dissapointing

Are you kidding? The story hardly makes sense, the characters are cringe worthy and the gameplay is boring and repetitive. The only good things are that some of the music is the nice, the graphics are pretty and you can fly.

Cynder is cringeworthy. and sure, maybe the guardians smile a little too much, but still.

also, button mashing sort of deals don't bother me too much. unless it's the same enemies over and over like the monkeys in ANB. ANB was good too though.

No its not. I like playing games while taking a dump......too personal?

The flying isn't even that good given the areas are so small and linear that flying isn't very satisfying.

Twilight Falls and Valley of Avalar are pretty good. my little gripe with Twilight Falls is the path they make your flight follow when you first get out of the cave. very restrictive. Floating Islands were just amazing. it's pretty hard to call that linear. the Destroyer and the Dam had their moments.

Non of that really matters though when you have to land to play the repetitive and frustrating combat.

The combat was...ok it was'nt AS repetitive as the last 2 but at the same time I never felt very...powerful in dawn of the Dragon hmm

Well, it felt a bit more realistic. When you punch someone it isn't going to
make a loud "PPPSSHH!" sound and the earth isn't going to shake.

Valley of Avalar was pretty compact too. When I think of an area that would be nice to fly in. I think of this

BTW that entire left area you can't explore because its not even in the game. Hurp a durp. Oh and you can't fly over mountains because insert dumb reason here.

No they weren't. It was short and tedious. The Burned Lands had more of a feel of THIS IS THE FINAL AREA GUYS!!!! than that place.
