Actually, they are all finished, except for the last one. I'm working on that one as we speak, and hope to finish it by week's end.

I've been told that i have'nt revealed enough of my story on here...so i'll give you one of my more detailed pages

Chapter 22: War of retribution, page 1,134

Setting: Dragon Confederation assault carrier Holy Reconciliation, New Atlantis

Neyla: do you have any idea what these things are? they just attacked us in force; and they appear to spread like a disease!

Cynder: Neyla, they are the Koozer-Ga, the enemy who destroyed the Precursors. they are why the Rings were built, to destroy them. We are the inheritors of their technology; we must not make the mistakes they did, we must defend this planet and our cities if there is to be any hope of victory.

Honor Guard officer: Enemy ships have opened fire on us; i'm moving to engage them over the city proper, but it is'nt looking good for us; we are outnumbered and outgunned.

Neyla: Cynder, we cannot lose New Atlantis; i will fight to my dying breath to defend this city!

Cynder: Neyla, i won't allow the enemy to take this city and you of all people should know that. the entire fleet of our countries are marshelled against them; no enemy have ever been able to defeat me, and they will never beat us. we just have to ensure they don't reach the city itself. I am here to defend the civilian population, as i would if this were my own city.

What are your plans with the story? (Not the plot, but the story as a whole.)
Are you going to try and get it published? Post it on DeviantArt?

seems interesting. very refreshing to see updates. i remember years ago, some guy kept saying things about updates on a fan-game, or movie or something, and i'm sure most of the people here remember that (i'm not that old, am i?), and the most that ever came of it were some basic landscapes in Terragen, and honestly, i just wanted to make sure there really was something coming out here. look forward to seeing more.

than my college text books. Unless your pages are shorter than normal...

Yeah I remember that. I checked his deviant art recently and he's STILL promising anyone who will listen all sorts of crazy impossible stuff. I think he might actually have a mental problem. hmm

It took me nearly 2 years to write everything and draw the pictures. Sometimes, i spent hours on ONE picture. During that time i also had to contend with RL issues (i.e. school), so there were times I did'nt get to spend as much time on it as i would've liked.

For the record, a good part of the characters i've done for The Precursor Legacy are not from the Spyro Games. Below is a list of characters and their roles in the novel.

Neyla the Governor of New Atlantis, the capital city of the Atlantean Confederation.

Tera Hunter's sister and a councilor in the Cheetah Tribe's kingdom of Avalar. In The Legend of Cynder: Rise of the Dragon Cult, she is revealed to be a vampire.

Lady Nirrti Neyla's elder sister. She oversees the Home council, the entity governing the Atlantean Home-World.

Ophelia A member of the Dragon Confederation High Council.

Tol'ta the Chief of the Nidapiya Tribe, who live in the marshlands near the Atlantean Confederation's capital city of New Atlantis.

Major Davis the leader of military operations on the Dragon's Home-World being conducted by the human Coalition of Civilized Governments.

Rova 343 The Monitor AI of a Precursor Shield-World built inside of the dragon's planet, which is later discovered by Neyla.

You seem to be borrowing allot from other sources...is that intentional?

I took my inspirations from other sources. the Precursor Civilization, which i've prominently mentioned, were inspired by Halo's Forerunners-not sure if anyone has caught onto that one yet. the whole Vampire-cheetah idea i did with Tera was my idea though. as for the Coalition, the closest organizations i could draw ideas from was both Gears of War's COG, and Halo's UNSC. the governing systems of both the Atlantean and Dragon Confederations are based off RL constitutional Monarchies, though it would be a very long shot if you were to compare the RL system to those explained in The Precursor Legacy.

And That was a direct nod to the Halo series. as far as connections to Atlantis, the Atlantean Confederation's civil architecture would not fit with the architectural style presented in the movie. AC architecture is meant to be more technologically-oriented then that presented in the movie. The only building in the city of New Atlantis that i specifically designed to look aesthetic was the house i assigned to Neyla in the story-2 whole pages in the story are devoted to describing the exterior and interior of the building. Also, the Nidapiya Tribe are not base off of Avatar, but on a tribe with a similar name in Resident Evil 5. And though i've never once sat through an entire Twilight movie, i do see how Tera could easily be connected with the series. Her character i actually discussed with my sisters and brothers-they actually helped give me ideas as i was writing the story. The basic thought was about how to make a humanoid cheetah more terrifying-anyone in their right mind knows you cannot outrun a cheetah-so how else to make it more terrifying then to make it a vampire?

Chapter 25: The Atlantean Intervention, page 856

Setting: Harbor district, New Atlantis (DISCLAIMER).

He entered the ornate structure to find Neyla fast asleep, covered from head to tail in a sheet of silk. He was looking for any reference where Cynder had disappeared to after the battle to reclaim the Dragon Temple. Though Her governing potion did allow her to hold such information, the tigeress had only then acquired a truce with the Nidapiya Tribe, who lived in the undeveloped marshes outside her city's hard-light defense barriers. When she was awoken, however, she was glad to tell him where she believed Cynder had gone.

Neyla: Spyro, what are you doing?! those files are government documents and not meant for you to see!

Spyro: Neyla, where did Cynder go?

Neyla: In all honesty i do'nt know. My troops said something about the Ilse of Ruins, in the Marshlands west of here. Be careful if you go there. The native inhabitants are called the Nidapiya-and they don't like outsiders.

He leaves the city at once, and enters the marshlands. The area is littered with ancient ruins, giving the area outside the major cities the Name "Plains of the lost". When he finds one of their tribal villages, he is amazed to find the people of the tribe Human, with short, stocky builds, negroid features, and red irises.

Chapter 7: Atlantean Rising, Pages 345-346

Setting: New Atlantis, Harbor District (DISCLAIMER)

She had been there for only a day, and stood in awe of the tall buildings of the city, and overhead, the Aurora-like glow of the city's pulsating defense barrier cast light in the streets of the city. She leaned down to reassure Sita, the elder tiger herself a refugee from the Coalition Homeworld. Sita had been brought to Novo Terra to populate the planet-but when Di-Cell caused the Viral Outbreak there-and the planet was glassed to destroy the infection, she was moved to the Coalition Colony, Red Dragon Hollow. The Coalition had allowed her access to the research facilities on the Island, and there she had taken the tiger. The two of them had then been sent to New Atlantis to broker a treaty with Neyla and her Grand Council to allow them to expand their colony. Cynder and her Royal Court had kept silent on the Matter and the Office of Colonial Intelligence was growing Impatient. As they proceeded towards the harbor, they are guided towards to home of the Governor, an ornate 4-floor building near one of the spokes in the Avon river's extensive delta. Around the windows were arranged many precious stones, though passage through those windows were impossible-a force-field prevented entry into the building through it's windows, and a lazer Grid protected the main door. Entering the building required a code to be inputted on the Hard-Light Keypad nearby, but as they approached the door, it opened for them. They explored the first and second levels, mainly openly planed, the first floor being a mere storage area, while the second level being small apartments, locked with similar mechanisms to that of the door to the building itself. The third level was the main living area of the structure, and contained all the amenities expected of a house. The Forth level was an office block. Here were stored numerous scrolls, Letters, books, folders, Hard-light recording tablets, and other similar devices. At the roof was an extensive garden, Loaded with Many plant species which Major Davis was confident were totally unknown to the Coalition. Also here was a Pulsating mechanism that appeared to support the Aurora-Like defense barrier protecting the city.

Following this are architectural drawings and floor plans of the build and it's surroundings, and explanations of the technology found herein.
