The Nintendo Wii U!

So as many people might have noticed the Nintendo Wii U.! Nintendo's newest console is out! As a Nintendo fanboy my self! I think it's awesome! Love The Nintendo Wii U system Gamepad and Pro Controller! Plus you can still use the Nunchuck and Wiimote with it! Pretty cool!

Some pretty cool titles like New Super Mario Bros U and Nintendo Land are already out! As a Mario fan myself love New Super Mario Bros U! Hopefully I can pick this awesome system up one day! So Spyrofourmers what do you think of Nintendo's newest addition?

Nothing for me so far. Only game that looks appealing is Bayonetta 2(Still have to play the first game)

Though to be fair least this console doesn't have motion controls. That was the thing that absolutely killed the Wii for me. Thank god the two NMH and Xenoblade games have no motion controls.

My problem with gaming recently has been that I am simply not interested in anything that's being released. The Wii U looks like a great console, but there's no reason for me to buy a console if I don't care about any of the games on it. That's also the reason I don't have a 3DS yet.

Same. Wii U just has nothing for me now. Though the 3DS does have a pretty good library at this point with Kingdom Hearts, Tales of the Abyss and Devil Survivor Overclocked. Some other good games are also coming out on it like Barbery Defarto.

Its the Vita that worries me. Outside of VLR and Persona 4 The Golden. The console literally has no future.

I love Nintendo but i have absolutely no interest in buying the wii u. I would like the 3ds though simply because there are many future games that will be released on it that i will want, and there are currently only a few out right now that i would like to have. stupid online applications!

@ontels: while there are many free games out online very few of them are any good and even the ones that are "free" are not truly free. they only remain free for either a limited time or until they get you hooked and you want to advance or get some kind of special equipment or something. so they are not killing the consoles. whats killing them is the price tag, i know they have to make money off of these things but there are fewer people who can afford them and the games that go with them right now than there used to be. I have a Wii but only own a few games for it, due to a combination of lack of interest in many of the games for it and the price needed of the games ill buy the $30 ds game over the $50 console game in most cases depending on what it is. on average i buy maybe 1-2 games a year for a console and anywhere between 3-5 for the handheld DS that i have, that price tag is the main reason, since i can buy 2 ds games for realitivly close to the price of one wii game and get more enjoyment or at least an equal amount of enjoyment and playtime out of the 2 games instead of the one (there are exceptions to this though)

ontels, I'm not sure if that comment was meant to be aimed at me, but that's not what I was trying to say at all. tongue Mostly it's just that I don't have as much time and money for games as I used to, so I can't just go around trying every new thing that comes along to see if I'll like it. There was once a time when I could throw away all my money on a Gameboy Advance just so I could play a couple Spyro games and not have to worry about food and rent, but that doesn't work anymore at this point in my life.

Yea. When you're a kid you have no money, but all the time in the world. When you become an adult, you got the money (arguably), but no time.

In any case, I'm hoping to get the Wii U sometime within the next few months. I'm not much of a console player, but I love Nintendo's games. I can't wait for the new SSB game to be released.

That's like the only game I want for Wii U right now, and it's also exciting enough to make me want to get a Wii U just for that game.

Yeah Swaffy if your asking about Mario games for the Wii U. The only one out right now would be New Super Mario Bros U! And yeah the new SSB is going to be awesome as well! As well as Pikmin 3 I love that series!
