I don't want this ship to be made.
Why not just make it april 2013
That's what I thought, but apparently they're decided to get it out as early as they can for an anniversary voyage. In April 2013, they're going to have the ship sail through the original Titanic's route, at the same speed she was traveling, so the days are exact. When they reach Titanic's sinking site, they're going to stop from 11:40PM to 2:20AM for a memorial service and with the tossing of a wreath in the ocean, a wreath with 1,500 flowers (yeah, even I don't know how that's possible). Then, they'll stay there until 4:00AM, the time the Carpathia arrived to pick up survivors. Finally, after blowing the whistle 1,500 times for each man, woman and child, at 8:00, the time Carpathia left the scene, they'll pick up speed and head straight for New York. This is what I was told in an email.

It would be interesting to tag along, but I'm not being on that ship's first voyage.

It depends on the situation. If you don't know what to do, it would be a pretty scary situation.
There was this ship sinking that happend off of the coast of Africa when the captain and crew literally abandoned the passengers, and two band members got everyone off of the ship before it sank.
Like someone said in the comments:
That captain is a true coward. He's the type of guy who should be urinated and spat upon whenever someone feels like it. I would make an international law identifying him and saying it was ok to do that.

Re: RMS Titanic II
What he said at the end is bull ship (mind the pun)
I mean as captain you should be in charge of the loading of the life boats, making sure everyone gets of saftly, or atleast wait for the last boat.

Yeah.. imagine if it had ended up like the Costa Concordia did 11 months ago. If people had died on the Oceanos, he would've been in deep trouble with the government for leaving his ship and abandoning everyone. With the Costa Concordia, it didn't occur on our shores, so all we can do is go ''shame, shame, shame'' to it's captain. The Oceanos didn't sink on our shore either, but it was an American ship, so it's a different matter.
