Re: Systems

I have:
An old, chunky PS2
A PSP
A Gameboy Colour
A Gameboy Advance SP

Oh yeah, and my PC...Though I haven't really used it for games in half an age.

The vast majority of my games are for PS2

Re: Systems

Hmmmm - now I think about it, I should get newer things... but then again, I can never be bothered.

But anyways, I got:
A real old PSX, PS2, One of those old gameboys that arent in colour, a GBA, NDS and I'm getting a PS3 in a week!!
Not really one for XBox's although I was gonna get a 360 instead of a PS3...

Oh yeah, then I've got five computers...

Re: Systems

Don't go down the road of buying an Xbox360 if you are going to play it lots. I know they have a huge range of games more than the ps3 but they all (I mean every single 360 console made) will have a hardware system failure sometime in their life when overheated known as the infamous Red Ring of Death.

Re: Systems

I don't trust MS Last time the Xbox only lasted 3 years, and there are rumors of a new Xbox coming out in 2009, I trust Sony and Nintendo not to give me crap, A lot of people are saying that Ps3 is horrible(99% of them are MS fanboys and people who judge the system before they play it.) THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!!!! PS3 is a great system with a 10 year lifespan and HUGE potential, when Blu ray becomes the dominate force in the format wars.(vs. HD DVD)(And trust me it will) Ps3 sales will skyrocket, so dont let people tell you that Ps3 sucks because it doesnt. Shore it may never break ps2's record, but it is still a great system that is now only $399 btw.

No, i mean stand alone games for the XBOX... oh and i dont mean ALL are sports and shooters.
PS: I know PS1 used to be called PSX when it first came out, but why does everyone still call it PSX?

Re: Systems

Because there were two versions, the original Play Station which was going to be an add on to the Super Nintendo, then nintendo betrayed them so it was just called psx. Then in 2001 a new version of psx came out called psone. so it would get confusing.

Re: Systems

The playstation we know isnt psx, a model that was never marketed big time was called psx, when playstation came out the x was dropped and it was just called "playstation" It should explain that in that video I posted in "there origin of playstation"

Yeah. It like distinguishes it from the white thing they call the PSone. And anyways, when most people I know say playstation theyre either referring to the one in question or all PS models as a whole.
