Clock-la: Not any specific one, just animated Disney movies in general. I think it was all the songs.

All of them? Only This sound remotely Disneyish. And even then It wasn't really that great. The other 2 in particular were pretty generic.

A little off topic but This is my personal favorite Disney villain song. Religious symbolism FTW.

that was a popular reaction to MLPFiM's season 2 finale two parter, saying it felt like a disney movie. And I can see where it comes from. A lot of it had to do with the fact that they weren't limited to a 22 minutes episode, and the two parter premiered back to back, so you didnt have to wait. Throw a couple catchy songs in with a creative storyline with colorful characters, and you got a movie type feel.

Just because you don't like a show doesn't mean that you should be upset that there's another season. If you don't like it, don't watch it. If you don't like the fandom junk, then ignore it, but you must remember that people are perfectly free to do what they want since it's not hurting anyone. There's always going to be a tonne of other things that you could be complaining about but instead you choose to complain about this.

Seriously, guys. It's just a show. Some people need to be less excited. Some people need to stop making a fuss about it just because they don't like it.

Well I don't like metal, but everybody who likes this abomination sets their avatars and sigs to relate to this excuse for 'good' music. Youtube's music section is flooded with horrible dubstep remixes with extra screaming, and it's been giving me a headache for the past 6 years.

I mean, I go on /r/music in Reddit and I can't even get away from this cacophony equivalent of a cat scratching on a glass door and blah, blah, blah, I'm too lazy to copy the rest of your post in a derogatory way.

This and this. I sympathize with people who don't like ponies on the internet right now, I really do. I understand that when you hate something, it's annoying to see it literally everywhere, but you just have to deal. We all have to in one form or another. why would i not be "upset" (read: displeased) at something i don't like continuing? anyway, considering the insignificance of MLP, it wouldn't if it stopped at the show and didn't spill over into every social interaction in which i take part. with all of the images and memes and discussions of it, i might as well be watching it every time i go anywhere.

i do try, i really do. i have calmed down a lot in the past couple of years. i don't get angry nearly as quickly as i used to, but then something happens like asking why we care about a new season of MLP, as though i'm some sort of island in the middle of an ocean, where hundreds of miles away, there is the MLP fandom, when in reality, the fandom is in fact the ocean surrounding me. i put up with hundreds of images of Rainbow Dash and Rarity and Spike and people trying to unnaturally femininely defend this fandom from the haters who are just SO VICIOUS AND HEARTLESS and HATE THIS SHOW JUST BECAUSE IT'S FOR GIRLS (and not because, you know, it sucks) WHEN GUYS CAN LIKE LITTLE CHEERLEADER PRINCESS PONY BABBLING TOO!!!!! before i finally snap and make another post like this. it's not like i become feral and engage myself in a hunt every time i see something i don't like. a post like mine is (probably since the start of season 2) in the making. this is spreading like a virus, and i'm one of about four people i know who are immune to it. (so save it, all you fans who feel victimized by my words on the internet and the ARMIES of haters after your cartoons.)

i'm used to dealing with situations where nobody agrees with me. modern culture is full of them. every aspect of daily life for people being another thing i don't like, but when it comes down to people militarily defending cartoon ponies with awful argument after awful argument (see above), it's just too much, and i feel like i have to say something. where does this cycle of ponies and defensive obsession with them stop?

I understand you 36IStillLikeSpyro36, but remember that not all people are the same. It is not fault of mlpfim itself, it is fault of the people who are obsessed with the show too much. You would like to stop this show, but what about those good fans, that don't do all the crap like pony cosplays etc? (btw those cosplays are disliked even on mlpforum) You would be happy if it stopped, those obsessed fans may disappear, but what about the good fans who enjoy the show?
I remember... from school... we had lesson in social science about religion and you know what? 90% of the class was like "bleh, that crap again". I asked myself Why did they do that? Then I remembered how is religion presented in media and how bad reputation it has from history. They remember only those bad things like terrorism, fighting priests on TV, burning people etc. They don't know that most of the bad things has nothing to do with religion. They don't know the good and kind part (so that they don't know that many people (those evil) aren't christians, even if they call themselves (I could also call myself chinese god of fun, but am I?)). They would also like to let religion disappear, but what about those good people? And would it solve anything? back to topic...
I don't want to argue. Maybe you already know it and just meant something differend, but I just wanted to make sure you know that there is also the better part of the community and that it shouldn't just stop because of the worse part.

I hope I didn't upset you, I am not good in debating hmm
