Re: General Discussion 5
I don't go to Church anymore and as for people on Facebook, I wish I could understand them, but they make no sense half the time.
I have changed my username from Justin Long Fanatic to EricChristianOlsenFanatic, so Justin Long Fanatic is my old name on this site, and EricChristianOlsenFanatic is my new one.

Re: General Discussion 5
I just want to point out that I wasn't using any specific religion or church when I was referencing how we can't outwardly put blame on religion in general for this exact reason. The only reason I mentioned it in the first place is because the root cause of the forfeit was because the article mentions the school would not play due to them being part of the St. Pius X branch. Most churches are not like this, especially in other western countries. In fact, the majority of religions are not like this at all. Almost all popular religions that exist today were invented with some sort of basic moral system, and while our morals have changed a lot since the start of them (women's rights, no slavery, gay marriage, etc), many people smartly adjust their views, despite what their belief system tells them. Some people, however, are too stupid to tell right from wrong on their own, and that's what this school was based around. Archaic rules that adhere to a system that's outside of modern social norm.
Sorry for the long post, this just seems like a repeat of events from a previous post a few years ago. I am not generally apologetic, but I sincerely don't want people to think I am insulting their beliefs.

It's fine I wasn't insulted at all if I'm honest and I do agree with what you are saying. I mean if I look at christanity in say Henry III's day I seemed vey...different to what it's become today.

@Neotyguy40: No worries, even though I am religious I was far from being insulted. I thought your posts on this were very tactful.
On a different subject, did anyone else see The Avengers? If not, you should! I thought it was amazing, and I'm not usually into comic book super hero movies at all.
Also, starting my new job as a TA tomorrow. The first thing we have to do is sexual harassment training at 8 in the morning... woo.... ![]()

I saw it, I think it was well made. Overall, I thought it was okay because it's
not my style of movie. And waiting in a line that goes out to the road on a hot
day was no fun at all. I don't get why people like the opening day for movies.

Yeeeey! You finally got accepted for a job!

TA is what they call the student IT workers. I'm not sure what it stands for, actually.

Sorry guys. Avengers has to wait. I have Tim Burton to watch.
What's ur though on his Alice in wonderland? I did like it but I Do think people's reasons for not liking it are valid in the seance of the plot was to...well just the plot was to dominent in it, but I actually though it was a good film.

It was ok. I see what they were trying to go for with the plot but it falls a little bit short for me. Also didn't like the actress for Alice(Holy crap she's an emotionless husk) but I liked the Red Queen. Dunno why.
Also Johnny Depp dancing was just stupid.

Oh, weird. TA is Teacher's Assistant at our school. I didn't really see you as the teaching type...unless it's English of course. ![]()

Re: General Discussion 5
It's Samus from Metroid Prime 3 when you get corrupted by Phazon. (lol that sounds so freaking nerdy) With some added Photoshopz of course. I just started playing the third game once I got back home since I didn't have a Wii at school. It's pretty awesome.
I haven't seen Avengers yet, cause I'm too lazy to make it to the theater. I do want to see it at some point though.

I quite liked Alice, there's something about some frail girl in the Victorian era that just seems iNtresting to me...

>The Walking Dead.
Holy *bleep* this show is AWESOME!! Finally a zombie apocalypse T.V show and it is just as awesome as you would think.
Also watching Persona 4 The Animation. Which is basically the anime of the game. It's good abit chatty at some points but it gives the characters some expansion and the MC isn't silent anymore.
