I was around maybe 7 years old. When I was younger I usually watched my brother play part 1 until I finally decided to actually play it. Then I wanted to buy all of the Spyro games and I've never left the franchise since then! =]

My grandmother bought me the game when I was 9 and she taught me how to play it. (She was a Crash Bandicoot fan mostly and taught me how to play that too! Though my aunt was better at playing it than the two of us combined.)

i was only 13 when i played my first Spyro and that was season of ice. Trying to get more now though to play.

i started playing spyro when spyro the dragon came out (1998) so i was 6 im 15 now and i have everygame for it and im planing to get eternal night for the wii so ya i love spyro lol!

I was 8, I played it in the shop's just before Xmas 1998, I remember the first level i ever played was Dark Hollow, Afew weeks later on Xmas morning i unwraped a PSX and Spyro 1, Now i look back i realize that really was a big moment in my life.

Anyway my sister got her playstation for her birthday in april 1999 and around 2 days later she got spyro
a month or less later she asked me to play so lol, my first playstation and spyro game!

Spyro 2 had come out and I got it smack-bang on my birthday. If the year was 1999, then if I calculate correctly, I would have been...eight years old (I've yet to turn 16).

I think I might have been one of the youngest gamers ever...but not for Spyro. I remember my parents playing Sonic 2 and trying to get past Silver Sonic. I don't think I would have even turned one then, so being eight when I played Spyro is SEVERELY old.

I got my first spyro game one christmas along with a brand new PS1
it was my first video game ever and got me hooked on the series XD
the game was "spyro the dragon" the first one ever bym insomniac ^_^

I was 12 years old when I first got my hands on the Spyro game... I believe it was in 1996.

I had been playing the PS1 since I was 6, when my brother got it.
I only played 5 games before Spyro.

I was 8 when i get Spyro the dragon...maaan what a good times...its seems to be yesterday*sigh*...i really loved that game, until my ps1 gone broke(it was terrible i think i cryed too hehe), now i'm still that kid who loves play as Spyro smile , never have changed my inner kid hehe
