SpyroForum Notifier for Firefox (Firefox only)
Actually, Firefox is my primary browser, that I use for surfing the net, and I think it would be great to have it. Actually I create it for myself, but I think it is good to share.
The program is based on the original SpyroForum notifier by spyrorocks.

First, Get Firefox if you haven't already.
After that, get Greasemonkey.
Download and install it. Restart your browser (File -> Exit and open Firefox again.)
Then, go to SpyroForum Notifier User Script. You will see a popup saying it is a user script.
Click the install button, and it's done.
If you want to disable this, go to Tools menu, and select the "Manage User Scripts..." menu item, then select "SpyroForum Notifier", and uncheck the "Enabled" checkbox. Or if you want, click the "Uninstall" button if you want to uninstall this script.

That's really cool, except I don't have the administration privileges to download stuff on my account on my computer....

I never use the administration privileges, but I know how to do it.
That's because I have my own computer.

Yeah, IE7 comes with Windows Vista!
I tried it long time ago, and it's expired.

Firefox makes my computer run extremely slow. Anyone have a solution for this?

Re: SpyroForum Notifier for Firefox (Firefox only)
Are you trying to install the notifier or just having general firefox problems? If it's the latter, starting a new thread or using the GD thread would be preferable to bumping this one.

Old thread, I know, but it would be pretty cool to try and recreate something like this for Chrome/Opera/IE/Safari...

This thread is officially designated for a SpyroForum app development...
What should we do first?
