R.M.S. Titanic's 100th Anniversary.

Today, April 10th, at noon, it will be 100 years since Titanic shoved off from Southampton bound for Cherbourg in France, then Queenstown (now Cobh) in Ireland. Then the Titanic heads for sea, for New York.

She doesn't make it.

That would explain all the Titanic stuff I've seen recently.

Re: R.M.S. Titanic's 100th Anniversary.

100 years ago, text messaging claimed its first victims.

The Titanic radio personnell were sending nonvital messages comparable to "ROTFLMAO" to other ships and the mainland, and they weren't paying attention to warnings from other ships about icebergs.  Then it was too late.

And coincidentally, April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month.

3d is just a bunch a bull *bleep*.. I don't see any difference at all other than the $6-$8 price hike. It is simply another way for someone to get more money...Oh yeah! every single time I try to watch a 3d movie I always get massive headaches simply from the glasses being on me! It makes me wonder how 3d was in the 50s kinda.

I am the same way about that. They either give me a headache or distract
me. Most of the time I don't even see a difference. So I save a lot by seeing
the 2D movies. I'm glad theaters are switching to digital projectors.

Ack, that was last night? I wanted to watch that. I like watching things about people dying for some reason, like 9/11 things. I find them very interesting.

Re: R.M.S. Titanic's 100th Anniversary.

By now, Titanic has shoved off from Queenstown, and is hoisting the American Flag on her main mast, referring towards her final port of call: New York.

She has a day and a half left afloat.

"The last time titanic ever saw sunset."

I quite like that line in the film. Also im shocked...but also not as shocked... that they are not showing the film on the 14 on TV but like I say im not shocked due to the fact it has been re-relised.

Agreed. Very deep line. Even more sadder because the woman who played the 100 year old Rose, who dies after she tells her story, died a while back.

The director's commentary states that at the end of the movie, ''Rose lies warm in her bunk. She is still. She is in deep sleep....or something else.''

Any who, it is 11:40AM right now.

Titanic has only 12 hours until she meets the fatal iceberg.

Leonardo Dicaprio actually didn't drown in Titanic. He woke up on a beach in Inception. Thus the entire Titanic Is all a dream.

I saw it. Worst *bleep*ing movie ever. 90 minutes of regret. It's right next to me right now. The story yearned for better effects, longer film time, better acting.
