Re: Attention Ratchet and Clank fans!

European fans will receive the game fairly soon (Spring 2012), but North American fans will have to hold out until Fall.

Why am I just hearing about this now, then?! o.o I'm excited, too, even though I just played the PS2 versions recently.

Re: Attention Ratchet and Clank fans!

You guys notice that there's been a lot of game series that jumped in on the HD collection? I mean Sly Cooper, Devil May Cry, Code Veronica and RE4 even my beloved ICO and Shadow of the Colossus has an HD port.

Not that I'm complaining. Just pointing something I noticed.

But Insomniac! Why not Spyro?!

Yeah, I know. Activision. I still want Spyro remakes though.

Re: Attention Ratchet and Clank fans!

I would buy Spyro remakes in a heartbeat, that would be so awesome... If you look at from Insomniac's standpoint though, it wouldn't really be economically viable at all...even if they were legally allowed to make it. I mean the Ratchet and Clank series (in its true form--not some spinoff LoS or Skylanders BS) still exists today, which means it got more younger fans from the PS3 installments who haven't necessarily picked up the first 3 games yet. Plus they have the older gamers who loved the PS2 versions, who wouldn't hesitate to pick HD remakes of their favorite games. With Spyro, there's just the select few fans like us who would care enough to go out and buy it. sad

Even so, I'm still super excited for this. Maybe they'll even add strafing to the first game.
